  5. Was the sub a straight change over or did you have to cut and shut a bit to make it fit. I am sick of the pop pop. cheers
  6. Mine was built early feb and I pick it up late feb. Not sure of the exact date's on the plates The car is in the bits and spread between two different workshops getting billit rods and forgrd pistons due to number 6 bending and breaking the top ring land off the piston I had heard that the BF do have the LPG rods but I guess they must of missed mine, and they could of missed yours as well .WHO knows
  7. Well I can tell you I have seen my BF rods next to a BA F6 Typhoon's rod and the Typhoon's rods look a lot stronger and bigger then my bf rods. So unless they are using thinner rods it the BF F6 Typhoon's the rods are NOT the same. This what I have seen first hand not what some guy told me
  8. Didnt even try. I played and I pay and plus If I did try and get it fixed they would still only replace it will the stock gear. So now I have billet rods and forge piston which is good for long term power, plus I can do more mods with out the fear of throwing a rod like this poor guy So its all good at the end of the day
  9. If you needed to know what a bf rod and piston looks like, just take a look at the pic's. Its was my number 6 piston and rod. So my advice do the billet rods and forged pistons now it will be a lot cheaper then later
  10. Not a big fan of autobarn. The few stores I have been in the guys think they know it all, but they know jack . I got my pipe work from Plazmaman as I didnt want to go the nizpro / APS relocating the battery etc path. Helps the air flow and allows me to make 350rwkw which is more then enough for me.

    Oil Cooler

Looks sweet you have done a good job. What did you pay for your hose to be made up. My oil temp increased Once I had all my mods done to a bit higher then yours, So I would be very happy to get them down to 80-90c I still have to wait a few weeks before I can do mine, but its all good
  12. A little bit of track but, a few guys have talked about doing the oil pump gear when doing their rods. At what sort of power level should you be thinking of doing this mod and whats a set of gears cost to buy??
  13. The truth of the matter is. It does not matter how my rwkw you got because you are always going to find someone whos got more then you. So the most important point is, Holdens are and fords are no matter what they do to thier common hores. Just my opinion

    Oil Cooler

How many people run a Thermostat on the oil cooler line. I know that you do it to help the motor /oil get up to the correct temp quicker but surly with the turbo the oil will heat up a lot quicker and higher then a non turbo. So do you have to have in the T or is it fine with out one.????

    Oil Cooler

What adaptors did you guys use to fit between the block and oil filter. I was think about the Universal Engine Oil Cooler Kit form perma-cool but I am not to sure if the adaptor fits and it also use's clamps on the fitting. Would hate for one to blow off. Any more details on the rest of the setup that you guys are running Thanks
