  1. yes it has a manual PCM out of a Ba 6 speed turbo installed right now fresh from a wreckers (2nd one ive tried), when we installed it and started it up it runs very very rough so much so that I did not even want to drive it to see if it goes over 45km/h fearful it will damage the engine If the smart lock indicator is he hand signal that flashes every 10 seconds or so then yes used Xcal Sct 4 to flash my custom tune (done when the car was automatic) car it idles fine and drives fine but but will not go over 45km/h
  2. It is a manual ECU out of a 6 speed turbo BA, they are hard to come by. I'll jump on hp tuners and make an account I guess but man getting desperate if you're happy to have a look at it I'd send it over the holidays some time... Sent from my SM-G900I using Tapatalk
  3. I've had 3 different places program the ECU pcm and bcm and all 3 have had the same thing happen multiple times. What am I or they missing?? Sent from my SM-G900I using Tapatalk
  4. Just Another thought, whenever we flash the car to stock using the xcal 4 it runs rough as guts, black smoke out of the exhaust and idle of way off. Since the custom tune is idling 100% fine and working normal good until 45km/h I wouldn't think it is the tune. But like I said just a thought, since the tune was done when the car was an AUTOMATIC would that have an effect on it since I've been flashing it to a manual car? Basically I'm asking when they done the custom tune do they put in an drive line option as automatic? Or is it just fuel ratios, boost etc that are on the custom tune that will not effect anything Sent from my SM-G900I using Tapatalk
  5. Well wish I read that earlier.. I tried another BA 6 Speed manual ECU today and same thing. Next thing we are going to try is to rip out the modified 4 speed loom to a FULL 6 speed manual BA loom. Is there anything that will need to be modified? Or anywhere it connects to the dash I need to be aware of? If anybody has the schematic of the 6 speed manual loom out of a BA please upload! The 6 speed manual ECU I put in and had the PCM and BCM successfully programed to still shows up errors relating to an automatic transmission... Sent from my SM-G900I using Tapatalk
  6. ok no worries, ill save myself the trouble and try my mates manual ECU first before I do a ECU flash and see if it throws the same error codes it's manual guaranteed not going to get stuffed around with flashing this and that and hoping they get it right. If it works then ill flash my own ECU to manual if somebody in the area knows how to do it or go on he hunt for a 6 speed manual ECU online ill keep you guys posted again each day getting closer and closer...
  7. Ok then I don't think that will work took it to a Tuner today and itold them to program the ECU to the car and they said they could not because of the loom modifications, we only cut out the speedo and reverse lights, also I bridged the natural switch so the car starts with the key. Maybe try somewhere else? He suggested to install the full manual loom and try again, but he believed there was a manual ECU in the car at the time I never told him to "flash" the ECU to a manual one Sent from my SM-G900I using Tapatalk
  8. Quick question then, is flashing the ECU to manual different to programing an auto car to an manual ECU? Or is it the same thing just worded differently and done while the ECU is in the car instead of it being out of the caf May be a stupid question but I'm a little confused ehhh Sent from my SM-G900I using Tapatalk
  9. Well an an update guys... -The break lights are fixed, was the break switch on the pedals -The manual flash couldn't be done and we are wondering why. We done a quick search up on the ECU and BOOM it is an auto ECU. The guy who sold me.the conversion is a dip**** or it was just an honest mistake. My mate is going to try his BF F6 6 Speed manual in it tomorrow and see how it goes from there Last case scenario we will rip out the modified auto loom, Patch up the FULL MANUAL with what we took out and try that matched with the 6 speed manual BF F6 ECU, keep in mind the car is a BA XR6 TURBO. Then if all that fails I will hunt down a BA 6 SPEED MANUAL ECU AND GOD HELP ME WOTH THAT!!!
  10. Yeah I will for sure you guys have been an amazing help! Gotta tell you Lennox even only being able to go upto 40km/h up until this point its a hellllllllllllllll of a lot more enjoyable to be able to actually DRIVE your car! Sent from my SM-G900I using Tapatalk
  11. yeah after reading all 13 error codes I came to the conclusion that it's looking for the auto.. I've booked it in to be seen tomorrow. wish me luck fellas and thanks heaps for the advice really appreciate it
  12. hey I'm in Heidelberg West, I've spoken to Northern EFI and they said take it in tomorrow and they will re flash the ecu to manual and see what happens. The Hand signal and car are still flashing every now and then on the dash indicating a immobiliser issue. I did re flash it using the SCT 4 to a custom tune done from horsepower Factory the engine does not splutter at all no knocking or anything of that nature it will only go a max of 42km/h in any gear and what I siad earlier about it not going over 2.5k RPM is incorrect, it goes a max of 42km/h depending on the gear you are in example 1st gear is aprox 3,5k RPM 2nd gear is 2.5k RPM 3rd is around 2k RPM I ran the OBD II on torque and came up with this all issues relating to the PCM and auto transmission? I firmly believe the PCM is not in sync with the ECU windows print screen imgurl image sharing image hosting over 5mb image hosting above 5 mb upload a picture
  13. Yes it does start with the key now after I bridged the red/blue wire and light green wires together, I ended up doing it under the car to make it a little neater. Also just noticed that the immobiliser signal on the dash flashed every 10 seconds or so... Lennox, hey bud I has cost me 6 speed box, tail shaft, interior inserts, ECU, fluid reservoir and hoses 1k Labour 2.2k Manual loom 350 And 350 for the guy to come out and correct the immobiliser... He was meant to do the ECU bcm and pcm I guess he lied.
  14. I'd assume it need sto be hooked upto the pcm too not just bypass the remobiliser? I think that's all the guy dine when he came out with the computer
  15. Hey guys I connected the red/blue wire and light green wires now it starts up no worries but it still will not go over 2.5k RPM any ideas?
  16. yeah you got a point.. is there any way to find wires without taking off the entire trans again? or do you think ill be able to see around it just a heads up so I know what to expect in the morning
  17. yeah we just cut what we needed off the old 4 speed connector, ill bridge them down the bottom and up top to be safe I guess. hopefully works out! the white plug is earth or? power?
  18. so im looking for the inhibit switch just to be clear? I cant find the "neutral switch" on the schematic
  19. oh just saw the diagram thanks ill check it out
  20. yep, do you know where on the auto harness I can find it? or do I have to start taking out the gearbox to get to it?
  21. feeling a bit excited now getting closer.. where is the wire exactly?? just find the two red/green wires and join them together?
  22. what problem exactly? why it wont start with the key? or why it wont go over 2.5k RPM? also could you expand a little on where the wires are located and what you think to do exactly? don't want to messing with wires again not knowing exactly what im doing? and what exactly does the natural switch do? thanks for the reply
  23. when I had the original ECU installed I used the "return to stock" option in the tuner this effectively unmarried the device from any particular ECU but keeps the Custom tune in the SCT memory you can only unmarry the device 5 seperate times I believe also I just remembered when I was removing the pedals from the manual car I damaged one of the wires and never patched it up ill have a look into that tomorrow! thanks for the reminder I did not splice the wires myself and as far as I am concerned we did not modify anything else on the loom other than getting a entire manual loom and cut out the speedo wires and reverse lights then we joined them up onto the existing auto loom with the same colors and it worked (surprisingly)
  24. I've done 90% of my aut to manual conersion car starts and drives -ECU changed to a manual 6 speed one out of a BA -6 speed installed with new heavy duty clutch + flywheel -Manual tailshaft installed -Pedals installed and hooked up -clutch fluid reservoir installed -shifter installed and selcts gears find -speedo cable and reverse lights spliced into the 4 speed loom My issues are -break lights will not turn off when car is on -car will not start with the key I have to put it in ignition and cross the relay -car WILL NOT go over 2.5k RPM -Blowing a bit of black smoke NOTES: I had a custom tune on the old ECU and unmarried my SCT Tuner from that and uploaded the tune to the manual ECU SUCCESSFULLY I had a guy come out and reprogram the ECU to the immobiliser and he said that was all there is to do. Any Pointers will be greatly appreciated
