  1. Where do you calibrate your eyes for a visual inspection? Heads need more than a visual inspection, especially if your building an engine, very least it should be pressure tested/hardness tested, I've always got my valve seats and valves cut, ideally a new set of valves in a perfect world.
  2. That's a mean set up, wonder how he went about piggy backing it to trick the factory ECU
  3. Sorry to dig up and old topic, but better than starting a new post. How does one get around the Canbus issues running and after market ECU in a BA falcon?
  4. Herrod sent me an email saying the don't support the software here and Australia. Seems in the too hard basket!
  5. well I've sent SCT a trade inquiry as there's no one Auckland based with the agency, but somehow I think I will get no where. Crazy you can buy it in the States and not In Australia. Will keep you posted how I get on.
  6. I'm guessing no ones bothered to import it as you guys are all using the HP software, looks like a fairly comprehensive software package.
  7. Has anyone purchased and or used this package, dealer level but limited to one vehicle from what I've read, how does it compare to HP?
  8. Thanks for the reply, yea I guess I will do some forum research.
  9. Hey guys, I'm currently pricing up some options for turning my bog stock BA xr6 turbo into a 10 second street/strip car, I own a workshop and have modified plenty of Japas over the years and pretty much road tuned them with the odd tickle up on the Dyno using aftermarket ECUs, but all this Flash Tuning has me being cautious, As I would normally do Modifications peice by peice which makes small changes Easyer to tune. I've searched and come across HP tuning software, which looks like it may work for me and my old school approach. Can someone shed some light on there experience with this Software pros vs cons. TIA
