  1. Whites the colour for them isnt it ? That looks amazing!
  2. Traded mine in about a month ago too on a new SS, just wanted a change, once the new model Falcons have been out for a while I'll most likely trade back to a new F6 or something. V8's nice for a change though. Sounds awesome.
  3. 74300ks now, May 04 BA1 bought with 33000ks on it at 18mths of age. Almost time to trade. Want to be out of it before 80000ks. Been a top car.
  4. Reading this with great interest, I love my manuals ( Current xr6t is an auto though ) its hard to argue against the ZF but as I live in the country I feel the manual will cover all my bases when I go to trade in. As I no longer own the GTR or my Evo VII im REALLY missing the manual.....
  5. Nice..... cant wait for mine.
  6. Great read. Eager to read the next installment!
  7. Meh its only a CGI image...... Dont get too caught up yet. But I do like the look of it.
  8. More details!!!! Sounds very cool.
  9. My other car is a Lancer Evo VII for the twisty roads .....

    Xr6t Vs Evo7

From memory its normally between 450 - 550 rwkw, depending on the track & what tune/set up he's running. Ethier way, its a monster! This car was our bridal car too! Pity the day was wet though!

    Xr6t Vs Evo7

Was this Ben's GTR Brian? Racepace built my GTR for me a couple of years back..... But Ben's R is a point to point weapon..... Its pretty much the best set up track car I know of, and 100% reliable.

    Xr6t Vs Evo7

I have one of each. The Evo will win every time if you know how to launch it, its like lightening off the line. Its a also a cornering demon that'll show a clean pair of heels to exoticar worth 2 or even 3 times as much. The evo isnt a straight line weapon, its a track day one & winding mountain roads one!
  13. Check out the HP-F Territory... I love the look of that.
  14. Doesnt hurt that they look awesome low with 22s too..... I reckon I might consider one for my next car.
  15. Ive had both the Brake shudder & low speed power steering issues on my 04 BA1... both have been fixed properly 1st time by my local Ford Dealer.
  16. Steer clear of dealer paint protection packs, I used to do this for a dealer, biggest rip off around. As suggested, Zaino it! I did a Cystal Grey My06 STI for a client last week, spent 6 hours on the paint, it came up MINT..... Like a sheet of glass, amazingly deep colour & gloss.
  17. There is a Menace XR6T sedan here in my hometown (Sale). See it around quite a bit.
  18. Mines a '04 Mk 1, done the brake rotors under warranty. Also have had the exhaust heat shield rattle issue that's ongoing...... Been back to the dealer twice so far. Now has 54000ks on it, bought it at 34000 in Jan this year. Its been an awesome car. One of the best Ive owned.
  19. Agree with everyone else here, never bothered to put my screws in & they are fine.
  20. I made the same jump earlier this year, sold my WRX for the XR6T. No regrets so far......
  21. Brake Shudder - Fixed, new discs. Exhaust rattle - Fixed, but has started again.... Driver side seat surround cracked - Replaced with new one.
  22. Yep im a Expensive Daewoo convert too 1st 7 cars I owned were 'dores, with a run of 4 AWD Subaru's thrown in later for good measure! My Dad has been Ford all his life & thinks I've finally "Seen the light & come home"! Im converted now, BF Typhoon next for me......
  23. No Im not on the Z forums...... Visit it sometimes though. As for Swirl Removers have you tried the Detailers Pride Swirl remover? ( DP mild swirl eliminator ) I've found it to be quite good. Got a interesting one for tomorrow, Black '05 Camry Sportivo with heavy fallout caused by living outside for almost 12 months & light scratches all over it caused by owners repeatedly using automatic carwashes......
  24. nang3, yep all true. As Im normally doing new cars, I dont bother with stripping the "old" polish/wax off, but if the paint requires it then yes. I'll take some pix of a recent effort on a clients 1992 Cressida, as it was a well cared for car once all the old polish was removed & the process begun the end result was a clear 3D optical effect. As I use many products day-to-day, im interested in your thoughts on the P21S range of products as Ive not used any of them as yet. Cheers
  25. Zaino is the go, for my money its the best product on the market now. http://www.waxit.com.au/brandDetail.asp?br...3C/font%3EZaino Best results would be : Good Wash with a quality carwash (Zaino Z7 or something similar), Claybar to remove surface nasties, Zaino Z5 followed by 1 or 2 coats of Zaino Z2Pro. Did something similar on a customers car today, the results were stunning. Cheers
