  6. Massive effort there Phil, congrats again man. Heard the news this arvo from another TRP customer who was at the track. You certainly deserve your time in the limelight I know its been a your goal to go #1 for a while now. The bar has now been set might be time to see if we can chase it
  7. Good luck up at Jambo man, hope it all comes together for you up there. I never seemed to have much luck whenever we made the trip. I heard the Corolla is making the trip aswell.
  8. Turbo looks kinda small I knew I sold it for a reason. Your not mucking around are you, should be running by the weekend at this rate.
  9. It should walk a 9 sec pass. If you cant run a 9 I'll make the trip down and drive it if you like LMAO, will give me a fix till Im ready to go again. I want SMS updates when your tuning and racing, I really hope you see the setup at its full potential.
  10. I reckon just keep one list and include the FG with them otherwise you will end up with a list for every different mod people have done. My car also ran 10.96 with the ZF a long time ago but see I have now been moved into the BA list as I am now running a powerglide
  11. If your interested I curretly have a Powerglide with converter that came out of a BA/BF and also a GT4202R setup from ETM with everything. I enjoyed the few kms on the street I did with the powerglide, just took it fairly easy would use 1st gear upto 60km then bump it in to top anything above that and just cruise it around on the converter.
  12. Why wouldnt you progress down that path, there is only so far you can go with cars weighing 3800lbs+ before you hit a brick wall. Someone will find the horsepower limit of these motors where they become unreliable, so the next logical step is to start chasing weight out of them. The IRS setup I cant see going a hell of alot quicker either, its messed with our heads many a time now trying to get my car down the track and with most now going to a 9" with 4 link nobody will develop them further unless one person has the coin to pay for R&D. I know I will be going down the serious drag car setup when funds permit and I get left further behind the benchmark. Looking forward to seeing these cars racing in the Pro Compact and Turbo ranks taking it to the rotaries and 2J's SPIRO
  13. ETM everytime for me. Guaranteed to fit perfectly as he uses a front cut to mock up all his kits with and can do a complete intake to dump pipe setup.
  14. Looks like a few XR6T's are entered for this event a few in Street Compact and a couple in Modified 10.5. Heard a whisper that somebody is coming out with an auto and looks like the other one is a secret squirrel kept what he was up to quiet. Should be a good meet again with alot of fast Fords, Campo is entered and Joe Gauci also in the #1 Modstreet Blown Twin Turbo Cortina. Looking forward to seeing how all the boys go, good luck to those racing wish I could have been back out aswell.
  15. Depends what rear housing you are using, some are TA45 flange I believe. Also depending on turbo position may be clearance issues as GT42 is larger than T04z so may hit bonnet, strut tower or rocker cover.
