I have a TomTom One slimline edition and is excellent. It is very easy to carry around and can fit in your pocket without having a bulky back like some of the other models. You can also download different voices from Star Wars to Knight Riders Kitt and to Mr T etc. Not Bad. Works wonders

He will change his story. If he goes through his insurance company then he will have been advised never to except liability. Your best bet is to report him to the police and try to get him charged with culpable (I think that's to way to spell it) driving. One thing I have learnt from many years of driving, when you are involved in an accident get the cops down their or go to the cop shop straight after the accident if the other party is at fault . The cops don't like to come to a small accident scene but it saves you the hassle with insurance claims and people getting away with not excepting liability.

Hay any possbility of getting another picture "Paranomal" its a bit dark. Your Wing has me interested maybe in the GT Wing. Did they supply it painted or did you get it painted yourself?

One of the most irratting things owning my XR6T is its slight resemblence to the standard Ford Falcon. Even more so when Ford released it with the spoiler on it. Although our XR6's have a bodykit on it, I find it not being that pronounced enough to really set it apart. Has anyone replaced their rear wing with say a GT style one or a Typhoon style. If so post your pictures as I am considering to change the Wing but not sure exactly how it would look with the existing XR6T bodykit.

Wow thanks MR Bean. I have printed that info out to a fellow work collegue who still thinks that the Standard VX Clubby will kill the XR6T in overall power. He agrees that the XR6T will beat it off the mark but after over 100 Ks an hour he seems to think that the clubby will leave it for dead. Its interesting to say the least.

Ok its been a while since I last posted here, so I thought I would get your views on this little issue that I have been tackling with since I got my Xr6T last year. To be honest I have always like the look of the VX Clubsport R8 but couldnt really afford one at what the cost at the beggining of last year. So hence I settled for my XR6T which at the time was somewhat cheaper than the clubby. But just today I decided to go down to my local Expensive Daewoo Dealer to have a test drive of a VX R8 that came into the yard. So like usual I took it out on the freeway for a quick spin. I was somewhat taken back to its actual response that the car gave when put my foot down. It felt like I was driving a six cylinder but the only thing giving away that it was a V8 was the distinct roaring sound that an eight normally produces. 255kw of power it didn't feel like that's for sure. But this is the first time I have driven one. Have I got use to the turbo in my XR6T? because it was nothing like my XR6T. You can call me an amatuer to the performance car scene but what I want to know is that has anyone driven a VX R8 Clubby and how it compares to the XR6T?. My opinion on the matter is that I think I have made the right decision to actually go with the XR6T. What do guys think?? without any predjudices to ford or holden. By the way the XR6T is my first Ford- been a Expensive Daewoo guy prior to this.

I spoke with ASL and they are not prepared to do the handbrake issue, but will give me instructions of the installation so that I can get a auto-electrician to reverse the job they did. What a pain. Crans: All is fine but I have know idea where to start mate- and knowing me I would give "Frank Spencer" a run for his money if I was let loose onto my car audio system. If I went the ASL route all I need is some healthful forum member to give me a hand to reverse engineer their handbrake crap. I wish you were here in Melbourne mate. Anyone else around the Hallam area that knows what they are doing for a slab of beer!!

Well I was considering paying 720 bucks for the ASL unit so that would be what my budget is.

What do you mean by a hidden switch?? Surely thier has to be another way right than have to pull your handbrake up whislt driving. Isnt this bead for the car??

He doesnt do it anymore and the kits are not available. ASL puting in DVD''s connected to the ICC but only operates when the handbrake is pulled up and does not work when the car is in motion. Does anybody know how to make the DVD player operate whilst in motion. I am thinking of getting this done via ASL but don't like the idea of the handbrake.

Mate I promise you the seat base is $286 I priced one the other day before I too decided to strengthen and weld my current base! forget $1475 even $800 is a f*cking joke! ← You see I can't understand why they qoated me $1475 to begin with which as anyone would do obviously sent me reeling. It must be inconsitancys through the ford dealerships then. YOu see the funny thing is Ford Service in Hallam rang me yesterday and the the service manager again said they are waiting to get it approved. Pretty much I told him to shove it up his as waiting for almost two weeks to get a response is bullsh*t let alone a approval. I then told him I can get it fixed at a fraction of the cost and he was suprised. Anyway I got the impression that he didnt like to here what he was hearing and we parted ways. So Chris if you have been qoated $286 dollars then Coffey Ford are in the Business of ripping us off. I work hard for the money I earn and it gets me really angry when I get taken advantage off all for the purpose to swindle more money out of me more than what the product is worth. I am sure you all agree. The moral I guess is to hunt around even when it comes to services etc.
