  1. I had those cs88 as they were on the car when I bought it. Absolutely rubbish, horrible in the wet. Had a few brown pants moments with them in the wet, sh*t grip in the dry aswell and noisy as f*ck. Even my stock xr6t could turn them with ease. Not to mention they wore very quick. Replaced them with Achilles art sport, which I don't know if they will be much better but came within budget. Next will be a set of hankooks or something similar. 245/35/19s all round fyi
  2. To clear up any confusion, and I know it's been mentioned before, the factory speedos in the NSW ex hwp FGs are not calibrated. They are not used in anyway shape or form to assist with the detection of traffic offences. In a HWP car there is an orange sticker attached to the dash cluster which says the speedo is not calibrated. The digital speedo attached to the radar unit is what is used to determine speed offences, see the attached pic in the earlier post. They cars are changed over and returned to fleet at 80k kms (give or take a few thousand kms). Apart from the obvious brembo brakes and FPV alloys, the cars are 100% stock. The cars are serviced to the dot, but for me personally I would never buy one.
  3. Hey guys, been lurking around a bit mainly car research as me and the missus were looking for a new car. I managed to twist her arm for us to get an xr6t. We were looking into VF SS' but they were more than we wanted to spend and im a tur bo man. So we test drove a winter white FG MKII xr6t on the weekend at a dealer not to far away, has 19inch FPV rims on it and what looks like an aftermarket intake. Im still learning about these things so bare with me. Took it for a test drive and it drove really well, forgot how much torque these things had. Its only got the std spec interior and has done 50k kms and is a very clean and well looked after car. Not sure how far I will go mod wise, maybe a tune and lower it and possibly different rims one day. But it will make the perfect daily driver for now! Im a rotary man originally and also own a Series 8 RX7 and an rx3 sedan in the build. Heres some dealer photos
