talk to your solicitor mate. I got booked doing 104km/h in a 60 zone, $700 dollar fine 8 points and 3 month license suspension. did the same thing paid the fine got the letter in the mail. took the letter to the courts filled out a form to say that I was fighting the sentence, not the charge, took that to queensland transport and they suspended my license suspension (which means u can drive till your hearing). Went to court had 2 stat decks saying I need my license for work and had the suspension withdrawn. good luck with it mate

What you are saying isn't quite true. The original use of the term "rice" was used to describe a car that was modified to look like it was fast but wasn't. eg: big exhusts, intercoolers on na cars (I have actually seen this lol) monster tacos and guages ect ect. it was then adopted by the domestic bragade in america to describe jap cars, ie rice burners. it has really now just evolved into a term to describe any type of car wich the person who is using the term either doesn't like what has been done to it or is modified differently to what there car is.

I don't know why you aren't getting any sound. if you cut the wires on the plug when it is in the normal position. ie: you haven't unplugged it, and you join the new wires from your cd player to the wires that are still attached to the plug they should work. or you can just bypass the plug altogether and cut the wires at the back of the plug and join the new ones to the wires that aren't attached to the plug. give me a pm if you can't get it to work

Check your grommets there might be a hole in one of them if the previous owner ran anything through the firewall. I get a very slight whistle in the cabin through one my grommets where my wires for my gauges come through the firewall. that just reminds me I really have to sikaflex it up.

Rego and CTP is $634.95 for 12 months for me in QLD and you don't have to get the car inspected at all unless you let it run out of rego and no yearly fee for personalised plates either.

new LS3 is rumored to have 317, but I still don't think it will keep up. what will the GT, GTP, GTE have? if it is only 315 that is not a big enough jump imo

I used to work at the Expensive Daewoo Performance Driving center as an instructor in 03-04 . I have had some scary moments behind the wheel in Holden's. V series Commodore's have a restricter in the power steering that under high load would cause the power steering hose to blow off. This is not a fun thing to happen when you are blasting around a sweeping right hander at 200km/h, and I know I happened to me, this was removed on ALL cars that we got after this. When you bought a HSV you where invited out to us to have a few hot laps, much like the fpv drive days but not as good. Ever seen a 1000km old GTS monaro put a piston through the block, I wasn't driving but it happened on the same 200km/h corner, locked up the back wheels sent him spinning off, he managed to gather it up though. We nearly had 1 car out of action every week due to problem's, not always mechanically. all the cars had orange peel through the paint on at least 1 part of the paint, and they to do get brake shudder, even the hsv's. none of the glove boxes sit straight and very often the latches brake. seats and carpets fade really bad. I could go on but I wont im not here to Expensive Daewoo bash as my car has had problems to, and don't even start me on my truck, but all cars will have problems but from my own personal experience Holden's have very bad build quality issues

I have had it happen to me a couple of times, it either just stalls or it splutters when you put your foot on the gas then all of a sudden will work fine again. Try this, when the car is off, turn the key to on but dont start the car, turn it to off again, then push the accelerator to the floor and hold it, now try and start the car with the your foot still on the accelerator, the car will kick over but wont start do this for about 10 seconds then turn the key to off again. now just start the car like normal. It will reset the TPS, my mate who is a mechanic for ford told me to do this. I do it about once a month and have never had it happen to me since.

reading the latest motor mag they say that they are all badged 302 at the moment but that will be changed to 315 by release.

any aftermarket bonnet that isn't adr approved is illegal as bonnets must have crumple zones in them. They have to prove that in an accident the bonnet will not sheer off the hinges and come through the a pillars and potentially cause some horrific injuries. Not so much with fiberglass as it has a tendency to shatter, not stay in 1 piece but carbon fiber has alot of flex in it which can catapult it through the car. also the latch for the bonnet has to be proven that it wont unlatch in an accident.
