Yep its a BF only got it week and half ago, current 390kms been busy at work so not much time for cruzin Not real keen on been without one for couple of month until new one arrives, hard to go back to N/A after the T. Will let you know what happens. Cheers

They Quoted me $1250 fitted for bar and soft cover, I can by it through my work account for $750.00 so not a bad price to pay for a major F**k up if you ask me.

Hello XR06T, Know how you feel. If there was a prize for the worst ford dealer in Aussie Challanger Ford would win hands down, running my own workshop I dont know how these guts get away with the jobs they do down there. I wont bore you with the drama I had with my BA Ute and warranty work done there but lets say it wasnt pretty, did have the advantage of workshop hoist to check workmanship after they had finished. Sorry took so long to get back to ya all on this thread. Hi Guys, just got off the phone to local ford sales principal, late last week they offerd me the $2000 dollar cash back that they forgot to give me in the first place to try and solve the problem, since they will claim this back off Ford I told him O.K but I want a new Sports Bar as well, he said can no do so I told him to get me a new ute with air bag and since I've already tinted mine with midnight express tint they would have to have that done as well, After not hearing from him for a couple of days I called this morning to check on progress, he said waiting to hear on a build date but wants to pick up my new ute today and give me my old one back until it the new one gets here, Not Happy could be 2 months. He said they want to claim back reg and stamp duty from Goverment, so I guess they will try to resell it a brand new, hope I see it around and tell the owner I used to own it before him. Just rang the dealer up and talked to the sales lady who sold it to me, she is new and didnt no about the air bag so she asked the dealer principal and he was the one that said they where standard, Cant blame the staff if the big boss doesnt no his own product, waiting to get a phone call from him. Parts said approx $3000.00 to fit as it is a new dash wiring loom. Sounds strange I would think they used the same ones for all falcons. Will keep you all posted. LOL seem they fogot to give me my $2000 cash back because it was a runout 05 model. Now they want me to sign a form to say that it was built into the discount they gave me. Fat chance of that. Should be a good phone conversation.

No probs, found it listed on there web page, I was looking in the wrong place. Seems I've been screwed, good thing I found out, might have to up the missis life insurence Time to ring my dealer for a talk.

Hello 1AXR, have read the manual but all it says is (where fitted) pretty sure regulations state that air bags have to have a lable on them, strange the cars do but they wouldnt put it on the utes, me think I have be told a porky Hope not, will ring lynford and find out. Thanks.

Yeah not a bad idea I know all the BF sedans have it on there as I looked on the week end, will be pissed if it has'nt as I was going to order as a option if the didnt come standard. Hope its in there for the dealers sake. Guess I could remove glove box and have a look up there but hate pulling brand new car to bits if I dont have to.

Hi everyone, Have been lurking here for a while now but have just traded my XR6 NA in on a new BF XR6T Ute. I was told by my dealer here in WA that it has passenger side air bag, is there a way to comfirm this, been a mechanic every air bag I have seen in my work shop has had the words Air Bag on it. The steering wheel has but the cut out for passenger side has nothing on it. Does anyone else have a Ute with passenger side air bag that can comfirm this for me. Just want to know as I wanted one and was told that it was standard. Thanks in advance. Cuffo Perth
