thanks guys for your comments and help, seems I have some decisions and thinking to do. for now im just enjoying the new experience of owning my first turbo. on another topic and sorry if its been discussed before but I cant seem to find any info on upcoming events or cruises. id love to go on an organised ford cruise to get some ideas and inspiration. if possible let me know when the next cruise is on or any info regarding cruises. thanks

yeah im not handy with mechanics at all unfortunately. would it be safe to say if I was going to do it, it would be wise to try and sell my gearbox now while its still working and that way I could still get something for it rather than waiting to blow it? as a rough guide how much would the 6 speed gearbox cost? and how much could you sell the 5sp for?

im shattered but somehow always do this to myself by not researching and jumping into things I know nothing about. now im in mixed minds already whether to sell it stock as I bought it and try find a 6 speed because I cant afford to spend 3-4 g's on performance upgrades then deal with the gear box when I have no money left, and by that stage of rebuilding the box I would have spend alot more than just upgrading to a mkII or bf. also im from Melbourne northern suburbs, any one know a good workshop or tuner?

hi guys first time poster and first time owner of xr6t ba 5 sp. after reading all the posts im starting to feel stupid for not doing my research before buying the 5 sp. are they really that bad or just in comparison to the 6 sp they dont compare? I was after 300rwkw as my target over the next 3 months but now im doubting it if everyones saying they cant handle more power. do you think it will be able to handle the extra power?
