  1. No. It's pretty sad to see how bad the Falcon sales are these days, but Ford have them selves to blame. Not sure why the Late model camira outsells it by so much though; it's not a better car overall.
  2. Evil F6

    Charlie Sheen

I love the show, but the man is a complete f*cktard. The reason it works so well is he just had to play himself, no need to act.
  3. I bought the Yokohama AVS ES100 for my VT Late model camira V8 several years ago, and they were absolute crap. Worst tyre I've ever owned and pure sh!te in the wet. Can't believe they still make them. On the other I currently have Advan Sport V103, and they have been very good, with excellent grip in the wet. Also they have progressive slip when they let go. They are quite soft but I've gotten 30K from rears and fronts look like they'll do another 5-10K. I think I'll go Eagle F1 though when I replace them.
  4. +1 on 255 on 8.5" rim, although I'd stick to 245.
  5. Since changing to Transmax I get surging when the box is cold. I changed the oil after about 2000 km and seemed fine, but after another 10K it's surging again. Never had this issue on standard oil. Might change back and just change it every 10K or so. Any other options other than Transmax?
  6. This is so funny and was maybe a valid argument 18 year ago or so when they started appearing, but the argument is long dead and I think most people with even a modicum of neurons know what the answer is. Road tolls stagnated and increased for many years after cameras cam on line and it's been documented all over the world. The government relies on sheep mentality to get away with it's farce. Australia is now the anti driving capital of the world.
  7. Well I've been under a rock for the last 6 months, and I only found out today when I dropped my car in at tunehouse that Xcal1 is now dead and they couldn't do any more tune work unless I have Xcal3. I was also told the $100 buy back had expired. I'm sure it's come up before, but I can't see how this is legal. It's one thing to stop supporting a product and say you now use at your own risk and there are no more updates etc, but physically crippling the device and forcing you to purchase new hardware without compensation or heavily discounting new hardware, seems totally illegal. Has anybody talked to consumer affairs?
  8. Still can't see how they can SC a car to come up with only an extra 8kW. Sure torque rise is better, but please, and then to have a "hi output" version making another 20kW. How does a SC 5l V8 only make 10Nm more than turbo 4L 6? Bizarre and conservative. When can we expect actual sheet metal changes to the FG? I still can't believe they look exactly the same. I mean give us 275's on the back, new rims, elegant vented bonnet ala Jag XFR/XKR, something to make them look like new models. Will the uprated ZF clutch packs fit in previous ZF?
  9. So why do the Japs allow CF bonnets and even the Europeans? I'd like to see any stats saying this is a problem, at the moment it sounds like an urban myth.
  10. The coppas luv that sh*t bit of road. I refuse to drive on double demerit holidays. We all know it's nothing at all to do with safety (well most of us that aren't sheep). It's like shooting fish in a barrel, easy money and bleating speed kills makes it all acceptable to the morons in the media that let the governments and police get away with murder. To whom it may concern
  11. Well butter me cynical, but it'll be detuned rather than have good parts put in it. Who said anything about a 375kW version, not a snowball's chance in hell they'll release that in anything but a limited run special edition like the GTHO. Anyway what will happen to the F6, can we expect an update of this?
  12. Unfortunately he turn his back on them, so they couldn't fire three warning shots into his back. Good on you Lewis, stick it up right up the turds.
  13. I bet it's still FWD. If so I'll be looking at Golf R.
  14. About time, Formula dinosaur has been sh!t house for years. It's nothing more than a silhouette race these days. If Merc can join so can a lot of Euro's and Ford and GM have high tech V8's to draw on.
  15. In Iceland when they decided to drop the speed limit to 80km/h fatalities rose over 50% and remained much higher. This has also been documented in every country/state that has tried the same imbecilic knee-jerk approach. It's about time one of the German manufacturers weighed into the debate. Personally the Germans should tell Australia to get stuffed and refuse to sell their cars here due to our grossly incompetent Governments and Police that keep pushing utter and total BS. Why would anyone want to sell the likes of AMG cars in a country where you have such ludicrous speed limits with vast distances to cover. Call their bluff I say and pull out; the number of sales they get in Australia is minute anyway compared to global sales. Come on BMW, Audi, Porsche, Mercedes, Ferrari etc all of you get on board and launch an unrelenting attack on BS and if that gets you no where, tell them to shove it.
  16. Hopefully their wheels will be made a lot stronger this time, very soft rims. All this talk about how good they are, I had Simmons on different cars and all had to have rims replaced for warping. Heaps of wheel shops I talked to wouldn't recommend them.
  17. Are any trimmers able to modify the bolsters to make them larger like on a good Recaro or Sparco. I'm sure I've heard of some trimmers that can do this even with airbags.
  18. depends on price, weight, performance, economy. My F6 gets amazing economy for such a heavy and powerful car, can't imagine getting something far less powerful that uses a lot more fuel.
  19. A top fueler will do something like 0-160 in less than a second.
  20. Meanwhile Aussies bend over and say how deep sir.
  21. No it won't change anything, but given this clown's role as the chief traffic commander and his constant rantings about the evil of speeding, then he set's himself up for more scrutiny. As is usually the way with zealots, they are hypocrites by nature, preaching what they know is a crock. He has absolutely no excuse given the position he is coming from.
  22. When *beep* Greiner was Premier, the tolerance was 15km/h, he said they were only after serious speeders. The SMH ran a story recently saying the tolerance was still too high as no was booked for doing 10 over. I don't run red lights but it's interesting that at intersections with red light cameras, rear end collisions have surged. Wait and see what happens with the combos, as people running ambers now realize at the last second it's a speed camera and do a panic stop. Now of course you shouldn't be tailgating, but heaps do.
  23. That's is awesome, the app is excellent but those little quadra copters are sick.
  24. Blitz claim their kit is legal in QLD and should be approved in other states, don't know about AWC.
  25. Pigtoria the - place to be ...... booked What a friggin joke.
