  1. Thanks Puff, those calculators are helpful. Cost aside, is there any downside to going with a larger setup than needed and having redundancy? I'll be upgrading the turbo with external gate due to boost control issues so wanted to do the fuel system at the same time for peace of mind when WOT under half to 1/3 of a tank.
  2. Thanks K3ith. I'm not to concerned about cost. I was originally thinking of the PW single pump setup but saw that the plazzy twin pump system was about the same price. Just wasn't sure if people have issues when the demand is far less than the capability of the setup.
  3. Hi, Sorry if this has been asked before but hoping someone could provide some info. I'm currently running a 460 intank pump but going to install a surge tank soon. Would the plazmaman twin pierburg setup and fuel reg be overkill for 600-650whp on E85, and 500whp on 98?
  4. Happy Birthday Shamilton!

  5. Thanks guys. I might just give the CIA a miss for now. With the mods I've listed, do you know what sort of number should I expect to see on the dyno?
  6. Cheers all. I'll give Hi-torque a call over the next few weeks. I'm thinking I'll start with: Stage 2 or 3 IC Kit Turbo back exhaust Injectors X4 Flash Maybe a Growler CAI Valve springs if I need them Am I missing anything?
  7. Hi All, Well I made a spur of the moment decision and traded my 6 speed manual BA MKII GT for an auto FG F6 . The F6 is a great car (only had 29000 km's on it and immaculate) but I haven't ever owned an auto before so I'm not sure about the box and whether I'll get bored with it. I'll book it in over the next month for some minor mods but does anyone know of reputable places on the Gold Coast that know about F6's? Cheers
  8. Thanks guys. They came off with a 7/8 socket surprisingly easy. Really does defeat the purpose of having them in the first place. I just can't believe that the Ford dealership service department told me to use a chisel and hammer or a torch to cut them off when it's so easy to use a socket. I wonder how many wheels they've damaged in the past using their method. Anyway, thanks for the help everyone.
  9. Hi all, This is my first post so I'm sorry if my question has already been asked. I've just bought a 2010 F6 and it doesn't have a lock nut key. I've called 5 Ford dealers and they've all told me that the company that manufactured them went out of business 18 months ago and FPV/Ford didn't bother to find an alternative supplier. These lock nut keys are individually made for each vehicle so one size doesn't fit all. I've tried the key for my BA MKII GT and also the key from my dads 2011 GT and neither of them are even close to fitting the F6 nut. Because they are a different size to lock nut breakers sold, the local Ford service department told me I could: 1. Use a chisel and hammer and smash it off 2. Use an oxy cutter to cut it off To be honest, I don't want to do either of these things and for Ford to say this is ridiculous. Does anyone have any suggestions or know of an alternative solution? Basically, if I get a flat tyre I'm stuck on the side of the road. Cheers
