Hello gentleman, So after getting the 3 diff bushes replaced (with new superpro) on my recently purchased 07 BF2 XRT at Sydney suspension. I noticed that I still have a problem with the rear of the car, I was hoping it was due to bushes but apparently not. Before getting it done the car had the obvious worn diff bushes and the sound that accompanies it. But additionally, it would sway whenever I go over bumps. Now that the diff bushes are done I notice this swaying even more. Especially when on the highway. The best way to explain it is, there is a side-to-side fish tail sensation from the rear of the car. It's feels as if I'm towing something and it's slowly swaying the car from the back. I should also mention that you can only feel the sensation, you can't hear anything when it's actually swaying. It's very pronounced at speeds above 90km/h. I didn't realise I still had this problem until I hit the highway an hour ago, given I only got the bushes done yesterday. Was wondering what you blokes think is wrong with it. Is it common? Cheers Ed

Will do sheriff, can also point to where I can find the engine number. I know it's towards the rear of the block exhaust side but not 100% sure. A picture would help.

So It's possible to change the filter adapter? I'm not quite sure why you'd do that but what's the best way I can ensure I have F6 internals.

Where abouts is the engine oil cooler, I've also read somewhere they were exclusively on BF and not BA.

I think that's the transmission cooler though :/

Yes I have no dispute with the filter not fitting. I've put on a Z9. That's an image of the cooler.

Can you elaborate please. Also it's got the ZF 6 speed if that makes any difference.

I'm not exactly sure where the engine number is. The car doesn't have a full service history, last one at Hillis Ford 30K.

Gday Lads, first post on here So I recently purchased a Dec07 XR6T and when doing my first service and was changing the oil I noticed the car had a Z9 filter. I noticed as the filter I had purchased was the shorter/fatter Z516 and it was obviously not for the car as BF and up changed to this. Does this mean my engine is in fact a BA motor? So this opens up a few problems for me, as I was under the impression I had the stronger F6 internals. Is there Some way I can verify the internals of my engine. Is it possible to change the sump whilst retaining the stronger F6 bits. Also it's worrying to know why this change was made in the first place. I'm actually really disappointed about this. I was hoping I could get some help on this as I'm confused as F@ck. Thanks Ed

What was the problem mate, I'm interested to know because I've got bit of a problem with my recently purchased xr6 bf mk2 and the reverse sensors don't sound at all when put in reverse. I checked under the bumper and all the sensors are clipped in. I also can't seem to find the module.
