yeah that's what I was hoping. I swapped it for unfinished project that id pumped alot of cash into. this thing will most likely sit in the shed until I have cash down the track. wouldnt mind 400rwkw weekend toy as the misses wont let me mod the fg xr6t..I should swap her cars. even though I own both its in really good condition according the bloke,guess ill find out tomorrow.

im doing a trade tomorrow and im getting a ba 2004 mk11 xr6t with factory sunroof,leather premium sound. has spot on paint and pretty low 150k km. stock other than bigger cooler and a tune making 250rwkw. now just wondering what it be worth to sell if I was to sell it after the trade. if its worth not that much ill keep it and put the misses in it and keep the fg xr6t for a project down the track. silver in colour has stock rims the lot. regards kane

Yeah bloke at work informs me he has a hoist so I'd say I'll just drop the lot out do it properly and hope it lasts

sweet im getting under it soon to have a look if its been changed before. the diff hasa slight whine at 90-100 but nothing a good oil change wouldnt fix id say.. so superpro heavy duty centre and same in the blade bushed?? reading the ba diff bush thread it looks like a good idea to drill big hole in the boot well to replace the bushes. make a little flap for next time then

08 fg turbo clocked up 123,000 kms going strong. whos got the most on there fg xr6t and whats it drive like still... what are these engines good for km wise

the fg is in bad need of diff bushes as she been clunking for a little while now. ive read about the superpro comforts and that if you have much more than stock hp theyll wear out quick also. I have a tad over 300rwkw so is the superpro hd the only option? I dont particually want a heap of noise but if they are the best option for long life ill go with them and get some sound deading for the rear seats etc. cheers kane

Yeah same so sl it'll be then cause Yeah don't want the opposite to forward rake and it'll sit good still with some nice deep concave rims

HAHA yeh ya might be right there. ssl or sl will do ya think. yeah utes got a good size cam in it. 3.3l whipple with gilmour drive so its noisy as sh*t.. plasti dip the whole car I never thought of that....

im seriously contemplating selling my whipple blown vu ss project ute and buying misses a daily any putting the xr6t in the shed for my toy. prob is the ss owes me well over 12k in mods alone and as is id be scrapping to get 10g for it. needs paint and tune

when new shocks are due ill chuck in a set of xyz coilovers that way I can find a happy medium for us both. as I said before prob just drop the back couple inches

How is this to drive around town with speed humps etc. looks awesome but if it's mildly hard to drive around the misses would be up me for lowering it

Yeah sweet so +25 front it'll be with +40 rear. Just run a 245 front tyre. The misses drives it the most so won't be lowering to much or she'll bugger all the bumpers lol. I emailed this mob about wheels just waiting to hear back

So my car isn't any lower than stock and prob will only go little lower in the rear. So 20x8.5 +25-30 OFFSET f and 20x10 +40 r with 275 on back and 245 up front. Will this be perfect for fg sedan

Without reading back through all the posts has there been anyone with kmc rockstars 20x8 +32 f and 20x10 +42 r on fg sedan at stock height? I want 275 rears 245 fronts or maybe 255 front.

I bought my fg with 300rwkw and had 13,ooo and bored already with it lol. Gtx3576 and e85 should fix it lol. Nice looking car mate enjoy

P.s with 350+risks the misses would have to be bit careful as its her daily driven car

Some very good reading,just finished reading it all. When time comes to upgrade I think I'd like the gtx3576 for sure.. Any you blokes around Bathurst new or Eastwood in Sydney. Cause I'd sure like to come for drive in something quick. 300rwkw feels slow now..
