Has anyone had or know of any reliability issues with the precisions? I've read they have a bit of a rougher track record than garret. I know they are still a great turbo, but I don't want to have to buy a couple of them

What caused you to go to the GTX if you enjoyed the precision so much?

So if you're essentially making a smaller rear surly you'd be loosing some up top? Anyone had experience with this on a barra before?

Looking at upgrading the turbo later this year on my g6et. All supporting mods complete, now looking to go that little bit further. I'm after around 370rwkw - 390rwkw on pump fuel as there isn't to much rocket fuel where I am. From all the reading I've done, most 76's end up around 360 on 98. I've read about a few outliers like BenDoCo's 76r, who cracked the 400 mark on pump fuel, however, I'm just going off the majority of results. Obviously, I want to keep the car punchy, hence not going straight for the gtx3582r and highly considering the gtx3576r. I've ridden in both cars, a 350rwkw 76r, which was just missing that little bit up top, and a 420rwkw 82r which was just to laggy for what I'm looking for as I aIm to have a decent street car. I've read a few HTA options are quite good, but has anyone been down the same path before, or had any experience with a turbo that will get me what I want? Cheers.

Yea I definatly will want more haha, just shy of what I want I think haha Nope, I didnt get to stay and talk as long as I would have liked to have as we were in a bit of a hurry to get back on the road sadly, I dont tend to run under half a tank anyway, but I really dont think it would be a problem at thag level, would need to be near empty to be not getting fuel, im not the right person to ask though,

So a bit of a delay in posting about the updates, but finally everything is done. After a drive from Canberra down to Melbourne I was set to get this all wrapped up. I showed up about half an hour to early at Pitlane (was a little bit excited) in order to get everything under way at the time we set out. So the car was dropped off and I spent a day walking the streets of Frankston. I had to head down further south that night so I sorted out a little hire car to last me the night. Somehow, Mick was able to get everything we set out on doing done within the day (Thanks a lot if you're reading this). This meant I was able to piss away the little Getz me and the old man had hired to get ourselves further south that night thank god. I was stoked with the end result, as was Mick. We ended up with 310rwkw at 14psi which was exactly what I was hoping for and drives like a dream. Can't say enough about the quality of work that shop produces, the car is now tenfolds better. Pitlane as a shop were a level above in my opinion. There customer service is brilliant and they work on your car like it is there own. The enthusiasm down there surely reflects on the quality of work produced, and ensured me that my car wasn't a "Last week at work" job like the attitude of some other shops I dealt with. Thanks again to Mick and the team at Pitlane, would highly recommend, even if it is a bit of a drive. 8 hours was not a hassle for that quality of work.

So, Just encountered my first problem, Was driving along the highway, went to put my foot down and noticed I had lost all boost. Vacuum was and still is as normal as ever just won't get above 0psi, no warning lights, was not over boosting, everything still looks normal under the bonnet, all piping still connected and all and sounds fine revving up until 2500 rpm in neutral. Any ideas?

Bad luck mate! Making me want to get a PWR cooler now, Defiantly not a good first experience.

800hp Mate Bit of cutting needed to be done but a lot more stuffing around with the 1000hp, that's bait overkill for what I need anyway haha And yea plaz battery relo and turbo side. If I had my time again though I would go the pw unit and make my own turbo side and battery relo. I've heard from a few people how easy they are to make, but once I actually pulled it out of the box I saw how basic it was, but ah well. I also hadn't seen ratters comparison between the PW 1 (Which requires no cutting) and the plaz 2 until after I bought everything. PW 1 is as good if not better according to the paper, still both great brands for what I'll be doing anyway. Cheers mate
