  1. well heres something to screw u guys up even more. I have a 1988 toyota corolla and im gettin exactly that in my car. it could be completely unrelated but meh, might as well try. I get exactly the same dip in torque at 2500-2700rpm I was thinking its a fuel issue. (but of course, mine is carbie) just if that can help anything
  2. holy crap! the only reason im on here is cos my dad has a bf xr6 turbo. I wish I had one myself. im stuck with a $1500 toyota corolla! and u guys think your not made of money?? geez. id be happy with a stock one... for a while and isnt there restrictions on turbos and p platers? heres a pic of the shaker (it was damage from drifting on the track in case your wondering.)
  3. just a thought. will disconnecting the terminal cause it to "run in" again? or is that just based on the odometer and therefore wont do it?
  4. we also have a monaro around town with the plates GAMOVER .... then a GTP got the plates NEWGAME then theres RIPGMH on an older ford, cant remember what though.
  5. that could also be taken as NOT RACN you! we drive past you all the time. we have the BF with BIBLES on it. not actually mine. its my dads. he's on here as well. (in a topic on personalised plates.... its a business car) and yes. plates are very cheap up here.

    Pics Of The Bov?

cheers guys. yeah that does help a bit... but which pipe is the return line? I cant really tell from that pic :S
  8. hey guys. I was lookin around before and I found a post about the bov but now I cant find it :S does anyone have a picture of it? im particularly interested in the return line just want to see how much difference it makes. cheers.
  9. my thoughts as well. I think they just tweaked the results to make the holdens look better... xr6 turbos stock can do 13.8's which means the ghias can probably do a little better too. either way. its all in your favour. smoke him
  10. im in darwin, and apparently the local dealership does a track day for FPV customers... :( I wish they could extend that to the rest of us...

    Turbo

most of that is common sense. how many people would thrash the hell out of it and switch the engine off after dropping from 5 grand to 1?... most people would give it at least a bit of time to just cool it down...
  12. we just took our BF XRT 6speed manual down the strip and ended up with times around 14.0 to 14.2 (then took the air filter out and got 13.85 and 13.95 )
  13. yeah. absolutely. its my dads car, not mine. but hopefully ill get a few drives he really enjoyed it and definitely wants to do it again... hopefully with a flash tune next time... :D then we'll see about the 12's geea, thanks for that info. ill see about chasing it up.
  14. thanks for that, its a six speed manual. what do u know about the flash box as well? we have a friend that can do it for us. but its a work car and just a little bit hesitant on doin anything to it (not too hesitant though )
  15. hey guys. I was just wondering what little details and changes can be made to a stock BF XR6T. Dad raced it at the drags on the weekend and ended up with times between 14.3 and 14.9. this was his first time out and the car is only a few weeks old. after that. he took the air filter out and got a 13.85 and a 13.95. one of the other guys (from the beat the heat team of coppers) told him taking it out is good for a bout 2kw. I was wondering wat other minor changes like that are good for better times and or maybe grip? we live in darwin so 13.85 from a stock XRT is awesome in our temps. my other question is about ecu flashing. how useful is that and what sort of results can be expected from that? were thinking about getting that done
