I get good life out of Osram night breakers (1.5 - 2 years) They don't seem to blow as often in the FG vs AU.

I remember reading somewhere someone used plumbers teflon tape on the bar where it sits in the bush to stop noises.

If you get a chance could you measure the hub to guard distance?

I use Osram Night Breakers for the fact alone that they last! I have consistently got a year+ out of them in 3 different cars.
