Custom system from Liverpool exhaust 4inch dump highflow cat 3 1/2 inch from cat back zero and I mean zero drone so no complaints but could be abit louder tbh it's nice but I like em loud haah

Haha yea thts fe bud tht simple Tune will keep you happy for a while but my advice will be save up do it all at once and save money only an opinion as if I had my time over would do it all at once but ul Still enjoy it oh and about the r34 gtr I was driving it for about a year straight coz my mate had no licence let me tell you great car handling wise plenty of grip and ford can't compete on that front but straight line speed and comfort id prefer my f6 tbh feels like it builds torque easier etc. If the gtr was cheaper may have got one but I'm not paying over 50k for a 12 year old plus car ppl Seem to forget gtrs are no exception to the rule of an older car requiring maintenance I use to have a 33 with 450 at the wheels when something broke it also broke my bank account no joke haha and ambient temp at time Of tuning was 17.7 degrees so quite cool

I was told the injectors were at 88% duty cycle. And the tune was on stock cooler. I don't mind the spam it's all an interesting read haha. Yea was very keen to go a stage 2 but then kev and joe said no need so stuck with 1 if I was gonna cut would have gone a 3 I think. Oh my mates r34 gtr piping is always hot but he seems to suffer no power loss and he has a great big nismo cooler. I know different car but coolers and plumbing are coolers and plumbing haha. Just out of curiosity is there a reason you were curious to see if my car had a previous tune
-
Bendoco if your in Sydney and ever wanna borrow one of those thermometers your welcome to and yea I did have a basic tune with dump cat and stock injectors car made 315 at another shops dyno where it was tuned at but made only abit over 290 on Joes dyno but yea will deffs get you some photots of the dyno sheet over the weekend.

I think it's 21psi on e85 if I remember correctly and apparently there's still abit more left in the tune joe left is slightly rich coz the car was starting to run low on e85 in the tune and he was concerned about the fuel Being contaminated with 98 in the tank but he's gonna check it out shortly and make sure all is good . And yea will deffs get some pics up over the weekend for you guys to look at. And in regards to the PW stg 1 cooler joe said it's more then efficient enough and I don't notice any drop in power (although weather hasn't been to hot). And in addition to this after speaking to kev at process west he said that it's actually very difficult to split a stage 1 and stage 2 cooler for efficiency with no real difference in inlet air temps. Kev has a stage one cooler on his car and makes over 500rwkw no dramas.( and seeing as though id rather not cut the car if I could avoid it I saw this as the logical choice in cooler if I had to cut would of gone a stage 3). The fact that if I want more power if need a larger intercooler a built engine etc it keeps me more then satisfied with what I've got most of the time haah. Oh and sorry forgot to put down what model the car is it's an FG F6. Any one care to guess or give an estimate as to what it will go down the 1/4mile?

Hey guys recently left my car with joe and the team at cms to say I'm impressed is an understatement the guys did an absolutely amazing job and customer service is second to none. Car had the following fitted: * turbo back exhaust system * 1000cc injectors kpm * kpm streetfighter 1000hp intank twin fuel pump set up * valve springs and retainers * process west stage 1 intercooler kit * plazmaman turbo side intake and battery relo * turbosmart Bov * gtx 35/82r turbo * pwr heat exchanger for ZF gearbox * colder thermostat * ZF service * oil feed line * custom tune for both 98 and e85 On 98 it made 403rwkw and on e85 490rwkw the car feels totally different to drive and joe set the 98 tune to the more conservative side of things fuel economy on 98 is better then standard and the car still maintains all it's drive ability. It's a lot of fun driving it around these days . Gonna have to start saving for a ZF build eventually. The hardest thing is containing urself not to hit the loud pedal everywhere you go. Ps turbo side intake is insane one of the best mods you can do in my opinion.

Mmm id say take it back To whoever tuned it as I've been told that some Things need to be disabled in a tune to stop certain codes coming up (I'm only going off what I've been told Though) but rich condition and emissions etc would probs revolve around the injectors and cat. Who tuned it??
-
But basically long story short if you want some sound but don't want to tune get your self a catback system
-
My opinion varex muffler won't give you any performance increase and this is only An opinion but I think it would be a waste of time the stock system is made quiet for a reason better of getting urself a catback if your after some extra sound . Or if you want performance without the sound upgrade your dump pipe to a 4inch with highflow cat and get a tune oh and if you want performance and sound go a full turbo back system with tune. Sometimes a full turbo back system can cause issues with boost control and you may also need to port your wastegate and get an actuator and larger flapper fitted. Heaps of info out there on this topic have fun reading but don't be afraid to ask if unsure

Hmmm anyone along my line of thought that maybe one of the silicone joiners may have come Slightly loose therefore leaking boost thus explaining The loss of power could Be a simple fix on a hard to see joiner Sometimes abit of a flogging can cause a joiner to come loose has happened to me just the once
-
My opinion higher end of 200s maybe can crack a 300

Hey mate have the standard 19 inch factory Argents and yea I wouldn't be surprised if the battery is on it's way out it's a mid 2010 build still on it's original battery
-
No no tail light globes :/
-
Hmmm yea weird hey :/ I've had headlamp Fault come up as well ages ago And then never again hmmm dads an electrician so had him Check all earths and Wateva else he could check (not that great with electrics my self) and everything came up Fine

Hey guys driving along normally in my fg f6 yesterday dsc fault appeared on my dash reached my destination and turned vehicle off and then when returning fault dissapeared and hasn't returned checked with xcal no codes coming up any ideas? Maybe abit of water of something on a sensor? Thanks guys
-
It's absolute crap that when we pay insurance premiums that insurers Be allowed to use recycled parts on cars especially with what we pay for premiums. Anyone in the know on here would you guys know if insurers have that in writing in there PDS (product disclosure statement) that they are authorised to use recycled parts?

Have spoken to joe and will be letting him Touch my car shortly just waiting to Get back from an interstate trip have never heard a bad thing about him
-
Largely depends on Kay's and vehicle condition don't get me wrong I like the BAs but it won't be worth much id be taking the sounds system out and reverting to stock IMO Not really a great selling point and if it's good gear better of to keep it for Your next car
-
Yep they pay off wonders most of the time Those checks
-
Nice looking car mate one of the rarer falcons going around enjoy and take care of her also Goodluck In resisting the temptation to tune her ahah.
-
Not an expert but have been told by many that most high flow cats don't meet emissions standards wether this is 100% correct I don't know but seems to be a general consensus
-
Hey guys modding my car to around 430/450 rwkw on e85 (fg f6) have been quoted 950 by my tuner to perform the billet wheel upgrade balance etc. Seeing as Though this is abit pricier then what I thought am I better off just forking out for a gtx turbo will There be a big advantage?
-
Thanks Keith yea all the fg turbos are great weapons
-
Hey guys bit late I know but just for your info I own an fg f6 dad a vf maloo r8 we swap cars quite often. Tbh yea the maloo handles better and it's interior is nicer but what's the big deal about an interior after driving around for a week You get over it anyways and then it's the power that counts and let me tell You the maloo is no f6 mind you. You get a lot more looks in the maloo but faark me dead is it slow compared to The falcon. The only thing that really Farrks me is the fg should have got nav and camera as standard in fpv form. Maloos seats wow amazing but each to there own there both great cars just enjoy Wateva you have. It's human nature to want what you havnt got but let me tell you I may be biased but id have my f6 over the hsv anytime. But the maloo is great in it's own way especially if technology tickles your fantasy in a car. For me power is what turns me on but each to there own I love both
