  5. Yeah ebay cooler is like those autotechnica things cost like $160. Tuned by Luke at Phantom performance.   6. Picked my BF MK 2.5 T up from the tuner this afternoon, stoked with the numbers. 485 rwhp (361 rwkw) @ 16 psi. It's raining so no getting to feel what it's really like but the break of traction from 100 kmh on cruise control when I went to pass a car at 1/4 throttle tells me it is running much much better. K&N panel filter with F6 snorkle. ebay intercooler Plazmaman stage 2 standard cooler piping upgrade. 60 lb Dekkas walbro in tank pump dual 2.5" cat back X-Force exhaust 100 cell cat standard dump Flapper mod done Turbo smart actuator with the 7 psi spring turbo feed line done ZF tune done Valve springs done.
  7. Got my baby back. 485 rwhp (361 rwkw) at 16 psi. Happy as larry with the numbers and the thing feels like a different animal driving but can't go past 1/4 throttle in the rain. But super stoked with the result
  8. I pick it up after work this afternoon, not sure what boost the tuner will put in just told him to do what is safe. Will post results tomorrow. Of course it has started raining up here last night and continued all day with no end in sight, so I won't be able to give it a good workout for a little while.
  9. Great write up mate, especially interesting to me as I too have an ex police BF MK 2.5, Mine is getting dropped off tonight for it's tune tomorrow, so I am waiting in sweet anticipation lol. I have Walbro in tank pump, dual 2.5" cat back X-Force, 100 cell cat, standard dump, flapper mod done, turbo smart 7 psi actuator. K & N filter with F6 snorkle, ebay intercooler with plazmaman stage 2 upgraded cooler pipework, valve springs done, Tuner will fit the 60lb injectors before the tune tomorrow. I am hoping for 300 rwkw.
  10. Thanks guys, this has helped me to decide, I will get the actuator and set it at 7 psi with the ability to change it to 12 psi later on. I will go without the flapper mod untill I inevitably get bitten by the bug further down the track and do the cooler and the dump and set the actuator at 12psi. Bellato in regards to the injectors, my tuner (phantom) uses the deka's hence the choice.
  11. Hi Guys, I have a BF MK 2.5 with a ZF. I currently have: Walbro in tank pump, K & N Filter with F6 Snorkel, Valve springs upgraded, cat back dual 2.5" x force exhaust High Flow cat, Monza Cooler Trans Cooler upgraded cooler piping (plazmaman). SCT X4 (generic 10 psi tune) I am about to purchase: Turbosmart Actuator (not sure whether to use 7 or 12 psi spring setup) Deka 60lb injectors. Then off to get it's tune, the thing I am uncertain of is: would the flapper mod be of any benefit with the standard dump? If it has any advantages I will have the flapper mod done and fit the injectors actuator and new rear housing (with the mod done) the morning of its tune. Any input will be appreciated.
  12. Hi guys, after some definitive information if I can please. I have a 12/07 BF MKII XR6T. Current mods are, cat back dual 2.5" X-Force exhaust, High flow 4.5" cat, K&N panel filter with F6 snorkle, F6 stock intercooler. I have an SCT X4 flash tuner with a generic 8psi or 10psi tune. Some tuners I hav erang said my fuel pump is the same as a normal BFMKII but others say the Upgrade (which mine is, has the same fuel pump as the FG XR6T and to order the FG pod and pump not the BF one) does anyone know if the upgrade did in fact receive a different pump than the BFMKII? If the pump is the same as the FG do they allow more headroom in a tune than the BF pump? My next step is getting bigger injectors and fuel pump and custome tune (not sure what figure to expect from my above listed mods. After some time I will get the process west stage 2.2 kit to alleviate restrioction of IC at that time I will also get the valve springs done. Any advice would be appreciated.
