I feel sick to my stomach. These low life bastards deserve to be locked up. Trouble is, if they are caught they will probably just cop a fine. The RSPCA has been battling for years to get harsher penalties for animal cruelty. Governments are to weak to impose laws which include mandatory jail sentences and Judges are to weak to give anything but minimum sentences. Try cheating the Tax department and you will end up in jail for sure. The world is Fu**ed up.
They will dance around a bit in traffic etc as they are taking a reading of whats actually happening in nanoseconds. On an open road at steady pace say 100k/h they will be alot more steady. Put on the cruise control and if your car is well tuned, you will find they only move + or - 1 or 2 increments and will stay in stoich the whole time. By the way guys, its the black wire on the car you need to connect to.Cheers Jeff
Guys, since we have just finished a group buy for the gauge and Tripod package, we wont be doing a Tripod one so close to the other one. Maybe a bit down the track we might look at it but its to close to the other one. Sorry to disappoint.
Cheers
Jeff
Im glad to see some interest in this, lets hope PP are ok with this
Can we do a poll on this?
Are you guys talking about Tripod only, no gauges?
Cheers
Jeff
Take the theromstat out and boil some water in a jug, Put the thermostat into the boiling water and see if it opens, if not, its stuffed. other than that, good luck with it, hope you can find it.
WARNING, the Tripods are designed for electrical gauges. Mechanical gauges may be to long with the fittings that need to go onto them. Suggest you take your tripod along with you before purchasing any mechanical gauges as you may find they dont fit. Cheers Jeff
I had an EL until just recently when my son wrote it off, but it was a fantastic car. I used to enjoy jumping out of the Phoon and driving it ocassionaly. An excellent first car.Cheers Jeff
That's gotta be the bargain of the year Jeff.
What sort of price are we looking at???
$490 + freight for 3 gauges and a Tripod. Thats $100 discount off what this kit will be retailing for. To make it easy, lets say a minimum of 5 orders for this to go ahead. This deal also includes the extended warranty on gauges.
Cheers
Jeff
Cobalt style Autoguages and POD to fit would be sweet. Definately will grab one of those if this goes ahead!
I will do a group buy on the new XFORCE gauges and Tripod as a package if there are enough takers. Gauges will be available 1st to 2nd week of Sept. This will be a once only group buy to launch the gauges. After that, they will refer back to distributors. I will also offer a 2year warranty on these for the group buy, 1 year full and 2nd year pro rata. That is something no other gauges offer.
Cheers
Jeff
Adrian is right, the electonic stepper motor gauges, whatever brand, have an incredibly quick response time. Stepper motor gauges are the new generation in gauges.
