  1. I purchased a high flow fuel regulator from Herrod today. Fitted it up still has fueling issues but yet to recheck the tune. This will happen this week.
  2. Thanks for that info Bamk2f6tornado. I really think this fuel regulator is playing havoc as my tuner hasn't seen this issue before. I'll hunt around for a high pressure fuel reg Bosch type. I think only KPM sell them.. Correct me if I'm wrong.
  3. Hi all. I recently installed a walbro intake pump 400lph and new plastic fuel hoses. Also hi flowed the turbo. Do I have to replace the fuel pressure regulator as it's been tuned thou im having issues with the idle and stalling issues. Its very intermittent and revs drop under 500 if I come to a quick stop at the lights. I'm going back to look at the tune again never done this when it was at 300rwkw with stock fuel pump.
  4. Fuel Pump done 400lph Walbro in tank. Turbo Hi Flowed GtX 11 Blade billet wheel similar size to a GTX3582r. Getting tuned soon. I can hardly wait cause it feels like a slug at the moment.
  5. Just fitted a Plaz stage 2 cooler kit and car feels very sluggish. As the tune would be effected now. The turbo will be coming off as time to upgrade front wheel possibly to a GTX3576 just to get the great down low feeling. Chasing 350rwkw at a minimum.
  6. Great result norrs. I might have to purchase one and see if it helps my fg out. Is it just fit and connect and the a/c works as designed??
  7. Fifty One when you say mod the venturi do you mean make it larger by means of drilling it out. If so how much of it needs to be taken out to prevent fueling issues. Also any pics would be great if available.
  8. Don't want to go along the E85 path happy with 98. The Process west stage 1 step cooler can this handle and work well with around the 350-370 rwkw mark?
  9. At the moment Venom Bolt in cat, Xspurt 1000cc injectors, Process west Street intake & muffler delete pipe. Everything else is standard.
  10. With minimal mods I've managed to crack the 300rwkw mark. Defiantly big improvement over standard thou I think mid 300's would be better. I'm thinking a larger flowing drop in fuel pump assy + stronger valve springs and a stage 2 P/West cooler along with a bigger front wheel should do the trick on 98 fuel. Am I on the right track?
  11. My Fg September 2010 build has crap a/c also. Climate control set to cold vent temp struggles to get to 7.0 degrees while at h/way speeds and goes up to 8-9 at idle at the lights. Very average at best, have played around with gas amounts to get compressor to stay on for longer than 10-15 seconds but still no luck. I put it down to poor design.

Hi fellow members, Just joined up on here hoping to get a few tips and tricks on modding Fg g6e Turbo cars as im keen on purchasing one. Just like to do my homework and sums before I go on the search for a clean unit. I'd most likely go down the lines of achieving 300kw at the wheels or there abouts.
