alrighty finally solve it was fouled cam sensors from previous owner not changing oil enough the timing was out as well but reckons it didn't jump a tooth also another problem was sh*t fuel from batemans bay shell vpower 98 this is the second time I had problem with there fuel my Nissan gtr had problems from there fuel when I last went on holidays up there, ive drained the fuel and put my home town fuel back in it with some octone booster and cleaner no more misfire , So in final point F@#K!!!! shell in batemans bay do not fuel up your car there my guess its not 98 octane there or crappy fuel.

I took the car to ford dealer and they found a error code saying cam shaft sensor is out it was advanced 9* when it wasn't and they reckon it was the sensors .1300 later car was good and next day guess what missfiring faaaaarrk ill post when I find out what is going on with this big mystery Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

or do you guys still think genuine coil packs I don't want to spend more money on coil packs and its not it, im only thinking that because I pulled non genuine ones out (vdo) and was misfiring till now and then I put a different non genuine coil pack (osa) still exactly the same .

yeah 0.8 for when I put the capa chip in but I haven't sorted this problem out, I pulled the front bar out check all the intercooler lines nothing I notice this sensor had to lines going into it just near the throttle body it hanging there under the intake plenum it has a vacume line from the plenum or throttle and a metal line that wont lock in properly that I think comes from the fuel tank im not sure does anyone know what that is?im guessing map sensor but I have no clue that could be a problem?

so even though there new coil packs there still can misfire ? and it misfires coasting along and under load. cheers for the help ralph

I pulled out vdo coil pack are they genuine? also how do tell is there !@#$ed is there cracks on them like the skyline or there another way of testing

na no error codes on the bdi2 caple or engine light popped up ,nan not geniun coil packs there a brand called osa, not bagging anyone one out but my town veryone is a moron, my bad on the topic post I tried on my iPhone a few days ago and couldn't find it and then I posted this on laptop I relised I posted on wrong forum cheers brad,

hey guys my car is having bad misfires under load and just coasting half throddle even in neutral reving it up can hear a faint miss its a bad shudder or no power at all for a quick sec . ive changed the split hose on the throddle ive change new coil packs from osa iridium spark plugs a few months ago new fuel filter and I started checking the intercooler pipe haven't got the front bar off yet the cam sensor looks alright is the a common leak on the intercooler or have to clean sensors out etc any help would be great

hey guys hope someone knows this problem my ba xr6t manual is misfiring bad under load or even coasting along its a bad miss like its a bad shudder or no power at all for a quick second it use to break traction in first and over time it felt slower and then a miss every now and then , now ive changed the coil packs (OSA) irridiums spark plugs the cam sensor seems alright, replace the split silicon hose on the throddle, is there other sensor need to clean or common intercooler leaks etc any info would be good my next bet is checking the intercooler pipes behind the front bar. cheers brad

Hey guys my xr6 ba turbo manual was shuttering/miss firing under load and revving down occasionally jolts but it comes and goes I've put new plugs new fuel filter clean tge air filter possibly coils?
