Cheers guys (jas) ya I'm pritty sure it's diff wine but buy the experience u guys have had mabey just need oil in diff cause it doesn't get worse when accelerating and is constant the hole way throu rev range it's weird if had stuffed duffs befor and the get worse when accelerating but ya might do diff oil change see if it helps. And the bushes are next its going in for a gearbox service on Thursday and there goin to haves good look at it make sure there's nothing in there that shouldn't be and just a general look over engain service ill do myself not that hard only other thing I've notice some times in 3rd when hitting boost it's like its starving for fuel so think fuel pump might be on way out. But I'm not to concerned bout putting bit of money in as I swap it for a n/a 2003 I think the bloke I got it off just didn't really maintain it very well.

Ok so diff is on its way out then I'm guessing would it be Cheeper to rebuild or just buy new one and wouldn't know anything bout my other problem?

Hi I have a 2004 xr6t 4sp auto just swaped it for my 2003 na and he said the diff bushes need replacing but driving home I noticed that the diff whines all the time although doesn't seem to get worse when speeding up or when boost comes on just wondering if anyone has had problem befor or can tell me more.
