just wondering if anyone found a simplistic way on what to do with these when you're running a oil/air separator from PCV to plenum and big boost (I have -8an hose cause I overread a few saying you need to use bigger hoses) bvut now questioning how theyre going to stay on under pressure and most of all what to use to adapt these to -8an diameter thanks.

tried to do some snooping to see if atomic listed what they use, looks like they list 2/3 oils on their price list as nulon and then their running in oil has the following description shown on photo attachment, looked on nulons site they have a 15w-40 mineral that say suitable for run in but doesn't mention anything about synthetic

Hey fellas, Just hoping a few people on here can give me some info on their own personal experiences / preferences for engine oil in particular for running in process. I know theres 100x engine oil threads already but from my understanding since ive got an f6 block with reco'd 6T you're meant to use a particular oil for run in then switch to something else later down the track. I keep reading mixed feedback of people saying they have been told by service advisors when getting their first few initial services depending on dealer they are saying they use a synthetic 5w-30 or 10w-40 looks like it varied from each dealership preference and I also read somewhere that you are mean't to use a mineral oil rather than synthetic/semi-synthetic for run in? any guidance in the right direction is appreciated.

Hi, just in the middle of replacing my intercooler pipes, I pulled my PWR stepped intercooler out to clean it out, now having trouble fitting it all back up, are you meant to have the radiator or anything like that out cause ive already got the headlights and front bumper off and I cant seem to be able to get it back into its original spot ? or if someone has an installation manual that would be appreciated if you could upload it - david.

hey mate thanks for the reply, still hoping weather gets better here so I can get under the car, I was reading up about tailsahft cv issues, it sounds like the symptoms but im still confused if its tailshaft/drivetrain related why the noise/vibration would disappear when going over large dips on the road

Hey everyone, Looking to see if anyone can point me in the right direction with knowledge or possibly had this experience and fixed it with their own car. On my way home from bunnings yesterday I went changed gears hard on a corner 1st to 2nd and started getting a knocking noise (sounds like from the passenger side rear wheel area so I assumed it was a belt hanging from the Tyre hitting the body butit wasn't. Tried doing up the wheel nuts on the side of the road wasn't that, it's a pretty loud clunking sound but here's the strange thing, if I go over a decent dip in the road the noise will go away for say 30 seconds? Also if this is in the wrong section please move it

its a hub centric dyno and ive taken 3 of my cars to the same tuner, hes quite reputable in melbourne motorsport scene, did 3 runs 2nd made just over 400 and then it was detuned to 385 or somethink due to running stock boost controller spiking

Hi everyone Couldn't see a thread with anyone putting insight if theres anyone out there with kingspring suspension that tows anything heavy, im looking at king spring setup and the rear im looking at particularly is the ultralows which is 303SSL leaf setup and wondering if anyone tows with it ? I'm planning on just hiring trailers and putting a 900kg odd track car on it to the track and back seeing if anyone has a similar setup and if they have had any issues. regards david.

Hey guys, I feel like that I may be doing something wrong with blocking my bov as I feel that this topic would've been brought up before if it was an issue for many, in my FG xr6t ute I still have the stock bov and basically what I have done is blocked the vac hose that goes into the back of it with a bolt and put a short hose on the back of the bov with a bolt in that aswell to try get to flutter, but when I do this I feel like I lose a good 40kw or so

Better Dose With Blow Off Valve Connected
daveyboii replied to Acefantasyxr6's topic in Blow Off Valve Workshop
I had the line and bov blocked and it sounded epic, but when I got my car tuned my tuner said it was causing crazy things with holding boost during the tune, also said it can saveerly damage the engine so he hooked it back up, on topic is there a way of getting a decent dose with bov hooked up as I hate the 'pshhhh' sound -
dropped the car off for a tune today, maxing injectors out at 15psi :(
