Miss this and the XW the most & want them back dearly. 8 VH Charger 265 bored to 277, 650DP Holley, 3 Stage Nitrous Kit, bathurst tank, wide ratio 4 speed, lsd ... Seriously fun and quick car that looked like it had been painted with a roller whilst upside down, the runs went upwards!!! 9 Datto 1200 Coupe, A15 big motor with webers etc, 5 speed, big brakes and diff conversion... great little car, all engineered.... Should never have sold that one either! 10 TE Cortina Ghia 250 auto... single pegger heaven 11 77 Corona runaround 12 81 Bluebird, Mild L20, TRX trim 13 S15 Spec R 14 Suzuki Sierra, never had so much fun for $1200 bucks! 15 Hilux Surf... Petol, Auto, Sloooowwww 16 Series 2 RX7, 12A Mild port 48mm ida weber, obnoxiously loud & the best handler I've owned. 17 TD Gemini Wagon, healtyh 2 litre 5 speed, painted SV5000 Green, slammed on v45 Simmons. Throw in about 12 company cars in the middle of all these & don't even get me started on the Motorbikes, there's too many of them...... Next project car.... Spot on, people never take into account labour time, cost of equipment to be able to even bend the pipes, the hours involved to swap tooling over on a bender to bend a batch of stuff, the powder coating costs + getting it there and back again, the business costs, insurances, wages, electricity and so on and so on and so on. Take a Air muffler delete for instance, I can make a part at my house for $50 in bits too, but someone else has invested a sh*teload in the equipment to make the bits I'm about to use. Then if it takes me a couple of hrs to do, I've just blown out the cost to beyond the $180 I could have purchased a delete pipe for. Costs are always higher than the value of a couple of bits.
