Thanks maybe I been a bit carried away but if I take it to willowbank for an occasional run on a stickey tarmac then do I have to worry about breaking things at the launch?I thought that a lot of fgs are running 11s or even 10s with stock tailshafts. normally my driving is quite subdued on public roads but an occasional sprint..Anyway my family is enjoying the beast and my 3 year old likes nothing better than going into the garage to check that everything is ok. with our red car..

at my power level 2nd is ok at 35psi so I suppose lowering the pressure would help in the 1st. for street use though would 30 psi be ok?

yeah forgot to mention staggered wheels with nitto nt05 275 back rubber (still breaks traction in the first gear) so what are you guys using to harness your 300or (god forbid) 400-500rwkw?

Hello everybody ! Bought an fg 2009 turbo recently and what can I say it is an awesome car. I had a wrx before ,that had a t4 garret, plus a bigger intercooler and some other performance mods like a full exhaust of course. good for around 230 awkw.. now that I have more kids I thought that I wanted a family car that still performs and I have not been disappointed. anyway my fg upgrade was done by KPM motorsports and is running a stock turbo ,still a stock intercooler but the mods are 4 inch dump pipe into 3.5 inch cat back full exhaust,,growler intake ,high flow injectors and boosting 14.5 psi 318 rwkw at the moment, however I am going to put a bigger intercooler on it and maybe valve springs and up the boost to about 16 psi later on but for now I am happy with it as it is. The car has done 80 0000km now and the upgrade was done 10 000km ago. All I can say is that I really enjoy my car and already start feeling pissed off about Ford closing down in Australia and not having these great cars built after a couple of years. Mark I also got a hayabusa with some mods and been to willowbank running 9.6 @147mph with a crappy 1.75 60 foot time so still room for improvement.
