    The flutter would depend mostly on what intake you're running. If running a CAI or airbox, the stock BOV plumbed back makes a short strong flutter, the bigger ones make a different noise. I'm yet to hear a BOV running atmo or plumbed back that doesn't cause the turbo to surge. A BOV is a legality for EPA reasons, not a 'turbo life saving' device!

    All they need to do is reactivate everything and chase after the shop that was reusing the flash boxes. End of story.

    Is mine high powered? I don't run a BOV and I've never had a problem. Anyone who tells you your turbo is going to blow by not running a BOV is a tard.

    It's a tough thing they've done. They've obviously done it without warning to anyone which comes as the biggest shock. If they had have said XCal 1 and 2 will be phased out over the next 6 months, and on that date they will no longer work, so get your XCal 3 for $xxx.xx now as they go up to $xxxx.xx on said date. That would have been a more empathetic move. What a bunch of stupid f ucking Americans hanging everyone out to dry as per usual.
