    Manuals are the worst. My old car used to lag badly when changing gears. Unless you tried the quickest change you could, like my sh1tty not quick change in the video (lol) otherwise it would take a second to spool up in the next gear which was ghey. Hence why I bought a ZF

    Not quite sure about the speed increases, but he's right, speeding isn't the 'silver bullet.' The other opinions like tougher testing and getting sh*t cars off the road is a good call. Most old cars can't stop well and can cause death instead of injury because they don't have adequate breaking systems or roadworthy tyres. Finally someone has said something in the media about what I've been thinking for years
