  1. I'll grab some, but only if I can wait till pay day on the 19th? I just forked out $2k for my engagement party lol When are you planning on making the order and requesting payments?
  2. I'm 24 and with RACV I pay $2200 per annum for the RSpec. that's with a multipolicy discount with my house and contents insurance, the Accord Euro insurance AND I'm a rating 1 for life. f*ckING JOKE PEOPLES! :hiwelcome:
  3. :hiwelcome: Read through the sponsors and find your local ones, then check out their websites for some more info on tuning packages. Definately the first 3 are what you would do initially (injectors, valve springs and a custom tune (edit). This should give you around about 300rwkw I think. Then when you get used to that power, save up and do the others. Bare in mind, every time you do one of the bigger ones, eg. cooler, cat, actuator etc, you'll need to get it tuned again, which ads to the cost. Good Luck!
  4. Mine runs a bees dick over 0.5BAR (JUST under 8psi) in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, then if I hold my foot down in 4th, 5th and 6th it reads 0.6BAR exactly, which is about 8.7 PSI, which is exactly what showed up on the Nizpro dyno...Obviously under more load it uses more boost or full boost. I can hear the boost bleeding out in the latter example, sounds like two separate whoosh sounds at the same time...Anyone else heard this?
  5. After seeing those pics, the ball in the centre of the rim threw me out. The actual design of the rim doesn't look so SUV to me now lol It looks slammed on the road, and I'm sure when it bogs down under acceleration it would look pretty low too. Nice car and looks like it's got balls to match. Cheers :spam:
  6. Thanks for the comments :spam: Mine are blue all the time. I wanted white daytime then blue when lights are on, however it doesn't make much difference. No matter if they're blue or white during the day, the reflection makes them hard to read, but you can still see em...They're not as bright as you think during the day when they're white. Again, I was really worried I would hate the BAR readout, but after a few days you get used it to. Just think to yourself it's the aussie way and you'll get over it pretty quick. Afterall, these are Fords and the stock FPV gauges read BAR too... When the car is off they look smoked/tinted, and if it's not too bright, you can't see anything in there at all. It's just like my Accord Euro dash when the car's not on (if anyone has seen a Euro dash) I'm very happy with them. I got them rewired the other day to have constant 12V power. I'll take a vid of them starting up, taking off in first gear and then power down. Keep an eye on this thread tonight, trust me, it looks awesome when they shut down, don't ya reckon XRPete?
  7. Haha, not for long. Love it... Who has the blueprint XR6 with I think 20" chrome rims that look like they're kinda like SUV rims but they kinda look good on that car? Has a cooler & gauges too. Whoever it is I saw you on Stud Rd just after Ferntree Gully Road where 5 lanes turn to 2 (genius peice of road that one!) I was heading the opposite direction. Sounds good! Edit: And it's slammed...
  8. Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick?
  9. Wow...That trip would be f*ckin sick as. One day James...One day...
  10. Spotted and pointed at F6TEEN today. That car sticks out like dogs balls! He gave it some stick up Maroondah and now that I've heard both manual and auto from outside, I'm convinced manual F6s sound unreal under acceleration! I just noticed it's ya birthday too so happy birthday mate.
  11. Ouch. Just bad luck mate. Exact same thing happened to me a few of years ago in my old Pulsar. They had my car for 9 days repairing it! Did you tick the hire car option?

    Custom Tune

A custom tune on a completely stock motor should get you a gain of between 40 and 50 rwkw on the 98RON tune. Some have 210rwkw stock, some have 230rwkw stock. When you tune them, they usually equal out to around 250 - 260rwkw on standard injectors. If you replace the injectors and tune it, you should expect around 290rwkw, and then sometimes at this power level you might need to start thinking about your driveline components. Hyponodoc you wanna tell us what can wear at these levels?
  13. Same here. SUV's are a f*cking waste of time. The amount of stupid women I see driving these things with their Gucci's on makes me want to scream. They're NOT safer, they're just there to make women feel like they're higher than the men on the roads, and to make men try and feel tough (Hummer is a perfect example!) *Oh oh, I think I may have dropped a nuke. I dare a mod to shift this topic into the Territory section lol*
  14. Hayman without a ducking foubt!
  15. Why don't I see you guys? I drive down the Monash almost every morning away from the city and I always keep an eye out for hot T's or F6's.
  16. Show us ya wheels mofo! What are they?
  17. Mate with a car like that for his first he'll be driving a friggin F6 by the time he's 21!
  18. I thought the same about PSI. I wanted PSI really badly, however I'm an aussie and not a yank so I hardened the f*ck up and got BAR lol
  19. Yeah yeah... I've squirted and rubbed about 100 litres of tyre shine on that car lol why stop now
  20. I wish I could sleep. I got 2 hours last night and had to front up here at work by 10am and sit here with my ding dong in my hands for the whole day. I swear I fell asleep standing up before.
  21. I'm talking unmarked. Anything that is regularly used in pursuit or in demand of possible high speed travel has wider tyres fitted and retains the stock hubcaps. It's more difficult to spot on Falcons but Commodores are easy to spot. Seriously, next time you see the lights in the back window of an unmarked Commodore, check out the width of the tyres!
