Yeah yeah yeah I used a hose clamp, but I didn't realise the stoppers were as hollow as they are. I couldn't wedge it in as far as it needs to be, so I'll head back down to bunnings and get a smaller stopper. Also, what should I be doing with the other end of the hose? Pic attached...

I blocked off the BOV yesterday and it does sound pretty sweet, but I didn't block it off properly and it blew off last night when I went to see Hughesy is Cranky. I went and bought a spare hose that goes from the intake to the BOV and I cut the hose and plugged it up with a chair stopper, but the ones I bought were too big for the hose. If I don't rev out the gear and back off it'll last the day, but I'd definately putting the hose back on. It sounds good but there seems to be a slight lack of performance? I also tried to put a metal 90° dose pipe on for sh!ts and giggles, but I couldn't get the thing to screw onto the housing on the turbo inlet. It just wouldn't fit! I was so cut coz I'd even chopped up a $70 Monza silicone hose to try and get a little more bend, this just made it worse. The fuking power steering pump made it impossible! I'll just have to get rid of the factory piping when I get it tuned. Then it'll suck like a Godfrey's store.

I couldn't get one made in January. My uncle told me they have been building FGs since late last year, and they would start fully pumping them out late Feb. They unveiled one to all the factory employees in December. I'll have to send him an email and find out... Anyone else know someone who works at the factory?

You're evil. I have to work all the way through to the end of Nov for our 4.5 week trip to europe in Dec. Actually I <3 Bananas working 10 months straight. Might book in some leave for mid year lol

As I said in my first post, it's just purely for noise. I just wanted to hear something different. I might try the dose pipe just to see what it's like tomorrow. Might put it on for a cruise for a laugh. Most people's cars are tuned anywayz, no need for maximum performance. It did spool quicker though! Here's the rattlesnake! Spool sounds awesome! I tried it and it sounded like a rattle snake. The turbo noise was heaps louder though. Can you hook up a dose pipe to stock piping? Anyone got any pics?

If I put a small pod straight on the turbo inlet (just for noise, not performance!) will it screw anything up not having any pipe or anything coming off it? It's only for short periods of time only. Thanks!

I was told NOT to put an additive like Transmax in there when it's still under warrany as Ford will try and void it if they find it (but not sure if they can tell or not?). Apparently it's an additive and is not factory recommended. All of them make a little noise at low revs, but there's definately as issue with yours. I would take it back in and be firm with them. Tell em you don't want the car back until they have fixed the problem, and if they don't fix it, ask to speak to someone else, and if they can't help you, ask who else you can speak to. If you don't give up, they'll have no choice but to spend some time dropping the box and investigating it, not just trying to 'insulate the gearstick' and muffle the sound. What a fukin idiot.

Come to think if it I saw a grey wagon down here at work with a GT sticker and stripes down the side. The only problem was it's just a Falcon wagon. Someone's cool!
