    Next Vic Cruise

Can't do day cruises coz I work weekends But I'd love a cruise that started at like 7pm, where we just hit a 3 to 4 lane freeway for a while so we can all show off, get videos and pictures whist 'in flight' and then have a quick catch up at a carpark, then come back and go through some twisty roads and then hit the princess at like 11 or 12 pm... That would be the best farkin cruise on earth! WOOOHOOO! GET INTO IT
  4. Who the I <3 Bananas does the australian public elect when members introduce bills like this? What a joke...
  5. If anyone has NFI where my post came from, it was moved from the single word thread...
  6. That GT-R sounds unreal. I wish I had time to go to the drags again. I used to love going to Calder as a kid and eating 20 hot jam donuts.
  7. There was an old Late Show skit when Erin Bana dressed up like Muhammad Ali and he said: "I sting like a butterfly and I fart like a bee." Anyone remember that?
  8. Don't buy everything yet. Just wait till I have a look at the engine bay. The next cruise is when you organise it!
  9. The engine takes less power to rev itself than it does to turn a crankshaft with a drivetrain and wheels bolted to it. There is not enough exhaust gasses at 5000rpm in neutral to create positive boost because the engine isn't using much of it's power just to turn the crank over. When under load at 5000rpm, the engine spits out a lot more exhaust gas because it's using all or most of it's power to not only turn a crankshaft, but a drivetrain with wheels attached and weight on top of it. That's why there is 'turbo lag'. The engine has to produce enough power/exhaust to force enough of this exhaust through the turbo to spin the shaft to the compressor which creates forced air to be pumped into the plenum chamber and so on. It's all about the exhaust gas. Please correct me if I'm wrong and feel free to add to it!
  10. I doubt the clutch would be on it's way out. They're tuff as I <3 Bananas. Unless you're runnin stupid amounts of power and you abuse it... Good move with the warranty though. Does it just cover the clutch or the whole car?
  11. You need these things, plus a 90° metal pipe, a 3" silicone hose, a can of Coke and a smile. And the answer is yes, IF it's not more complicated than a sedan... Riddle me that
  12. All depends on how hard it is to block your BOV and the room for the pipe. From what I've seen, that top mount cooler would make things real messy!
  13. If it makes it feel slower, it's probably just a bit of heatsoak. It wouldn't lose enough power so that a Jeep could kick your ass hahaha A Territory Turbo with a dose pipe... That would be hilarious on a cruise
  14. Mal's gonna arrange with Autotechnique in Rowville to put mine in. He said it should be around $100 to install. Ask Mal again when you PM him your receipt number.
  15. Thanks Man you've done well. And thanks to Mal if you read this, can't wait to get it in after my tune!
  16. He also claims he's 20 and a CEO of a company. Riiiight
  17. You doing front and back or just back? I didn't think the fronts would make any difference? I'll come see it when it's done. Cheers
  18. You can't park there... I took this in Camberwell when I first got my car. Not enough room? I'll just back it in! And aren't these just the coolest hubbies in the universe? 1000th post! YAAAY! Thank you, thank you... I'll be here all night...
  19. Does anyone have any pics of SL and SSL springs in the rear of an F6? This just doesn't look low enough. I might whack some in depending how they look. Thanks
  20. A screw just the right size works every time.
