Oh darn!

I'm not trying to convince myself, I just genuinely don't like the look of them! When the BA came out, I was obsessed with the rear end. They looked so good! Those tail lights, the rear bar, the wheels; EVERYTHING worked on those cars, and the little bits they've changed since then to the BF MKII has just made them even better. When I had the opportunity to get an N/A BA MKII I jumped at it, and now with the last of the BF series F6, it's the best of the best. We're not convincing ourselves or justifying our purchase or whinging because a new model came out, we just think they're farkin ugly...

It's a bit of a gimmick but you get used to it... Whenever I drop the car off to get mods / work done they ring me and ask how to start it hehe

I remember I was at Pete Luxon's place once when they were developing that kit. He rocks in home from the factory in the 350 TT and he goes 'Hey boys. I was just on Maroondah Hwy and this little bloke wanted a run in an Evo. I ran him into the ground and at the next set of lights he yells 'WHAT THE HELL IS IN THAT THING?' and I said 'It's stock... It was nice to drive. I just thought people would like to know the differences I felt when jumping from mine into an FG, this was never an attack on the FG. People just think it's ugly. There's no denying it's a great aussie machine compared to other aussie cars, however there's a few things people think they could have done better. Also one thing I remember is that the centre console sits so much higher in the FG, that really spun me out. And the Ford rep told me that you don't have to hold the start button down, so I jumped in and pressed the button and it didn't turn over P.S. Not to ad fuel to the fire, however does anyone else agree that those rims were designed for the B series and look awful on the FG?
