  1. I have just fitted some 15x7 to my BA MK2 with PBR PK8 upgrade kit to the rear wheels. Did not have to grind the calipers with this brake setup to get them to fit. My rims might be strange as they state they are 15x6 but must have been widened to 15x7. They do have a FORD stamp on them. I have painted them silver and fitted some 235/60 R15 Mickey Thompson ET street radials to them. Just need some help to find the local drag strip now........
  2. I want!! I want!! I want!! Should be a hills run though, with a few designated stops for everyone to catch up. Something like a few runs up and down the gorge or a montacute/norton summit loop up to lofty carpark?....
  3. Maybe consider a six speed manual conversion.....
  4. Hey Guys, I should be good to go... 1/ Bloosted 2/ Jetranny 3/ XR6tchick 4/ Southside 5/ Mitch 6/ Me ya f*cksticks! 7/ Foon 8/southside 9/luvmyxr6t 10/kent airlines 11/rapid_ford

  6. I ran a 14.5(I think) back in 2006 at calder(track was slippery),in my totally stock 6 speed manual XR6T. I didnt quite get to 100mph! My 60' was a 2.2 so that was what was stopping me getting a bit quicker for the stockie. I've also raced my 13BT RX7 at AIR before they closed that down, was not running well only ran a 14 in that too. But yeah heeps of fun what ever car you do it in. No matter how crazy you think you can be on the street, there is nothing like holding it flat at the track in fourth as you cross the line. Would love to do a 119mph 1/4 one day....
  7. Farmers Union Ice Coffee is the only way to go. In South Australia we drink more Farmers Union Ice Coffee than we do coke.
  8. Nice time and MPH, I would love to pull a 60'time like that one day......
  9. If you cruise around in them lots, without getting on it, they do feel a bit sleepy. Especially with the ZF as it will change its shift habits to your driving style. Even with my manual box it feels sometimes rather sluggish and slow if I havn't been giving it a regular serving of right foot. Might be time for some mods for me too.......
  10. Gday Mate, This is what I was interested in too. Can any one on here confirm that the caliper in the PBR PK8 upgrade kit is a C6? Not that it really matters to me as I have bought this kit already. Just curious now. I might have to check with pad part numbers on the Net to see if anything crosses over. Thanks Guys.
  11. Hi again, I went with the full PBR PK8 kit. Can pay it off through work account. Hope it is pretty good. Will follow up once fitted. See ya.
  12. That would be the way I would like to go with C5/C6 style calipers at front with 325mm vented discs and the territory rear calipers and 328mm vented discs on the rear. Just on another note, might have to call my insurance comapany, the full PBR PK8 kit be ADR approved. As was fitted to BA falcons as an option. What is the go with mixing the parts of the diffrent models and fitting them? They would have to comply to the original cars obviously. So will the insurance company and cops like the above mod. Or would it just be best to go with the full PBR PK8 kit? And what size are the territory rear discs? Are they actually 328mm. Thanks
  13. I know there is not much difference in size between the two calipers and I thought C6 was just reference to that they were first released on the Corvette C6. Then they were adopted by other manufacturers, such as HSV and FPV Does anybody know what the PBR/BA FPV front calipers are referred too? As in part #'s or brake pad references. They do not take the same pads as the PBR/BA FPV do they? I guess one of the advantages of the BFXR6T calipers is that they would be more common and brake pads and discs would be cheaper to replace? Any advice from people that have had a BA with PBR premos or BA FPV's then have changed car to a BF XR6T? On a side note did BA FPV's obviously have a solid 303mm rear rotor aswell? Thanks again for the help.
  14. Would love some Brembos one day. But looking for something to pull me up better but still stay under the radar. I think a front kit of 4 pot brembos is about $2500. I can get the full PBR PK8 kit for about $2000, but I think I want the 328mm Territory/BFI XR6T vented rears for some reason. I am still wearing down the stockies but they are warping on the front now pretty baddly. Just trying to get some facts and prices together.
  15. Thanks guys, Are the PBR C6 calipers bigger, by a small amount, than the BF XR6T calipers or are they the same? I know they are all made by PBR. Is there much of an increase in performance of the larger caliper? What other options in sliding-style calipers are available? I have seen a Ford Mustang Cobra with larger style calipers, I think the saloon cars run these as standard in their race class. Can anybody help me with a link for the rear brake conversion BA to BFI XR6T. I am looking for any part #'s of different parts required. Are the calipers different/bigger on the rear when converting to territory/BFI XR6T vented rear rotors than my BA rear calipers. Thanks for the help on this.....
