Well done howsee, finally got to see how a tuned car goes against a stock one . It defiantly pulled away from mine in the mid to top end of 3rd, 2nd not so much but I suspect wheel spin was a factor ... What time did they get rolling again after old mates commo accident?

Was I great day, had a blast just had to leave at 11 for other commitments. Would love to photos if anyone got any of my car.

Just to see what happens I put my gopro camera under the rear skirt to film the active exhaust valve heres the video. Mixed driving styles from a highway merge from stand still at the start (110 kph zone on the way to sunny coast) to mid throttle short shifts and also 60kph cruising. cant figure it out but the valve shuts for a second in first under full throttle? it also apears to open while cruising in performance mode. all done at or under the speed limits with traction on.

I found the GT's weak point its the ford premium sound system... It's crap the Bogan special 's sound eats it.... Then I wound down the windows for a few spirited 1st 2nd 3rd runs....... Bah who needs a sound system anyway.....

Picked it up today, I'm glad I put the stripes on it looks good. Can't wait until the weekend to go for a good drive in it, I love the way you can feel it unleashing the torque in 3rd at about 90, I can imagine what a tune would do when the torque tags are removed. First thoughts were that below 90 my manual ve ss with tune, vcm otr and exhaust was quicker those thoughts are gone. (I think it felt quicker because of the induction noise). The gt is quite from the inside with just enough blower whine and exhaust sound, from the outside it's a different story. I took a former forum member for a run and he was shocked at the sound and performance of it.

Yep I'm thinking that way, they can put the same as the "gt335 black" on it with the 5.0 on the guard.

After many years in holdens (go easy trent) Ive finally got the GT I have wanted for years. Its silhouette with no stripes I'm wondering should I put black stripes on it? what do you guys think post up pics if you have any. I'll post pics next weekend.

it spun and axle tramped for at least 1/3 track then ran 128mph.

mandrel bent 4 inch will fit on a sedan, it is very tight and you have to push the insulation up and also do a couple of tricky welds to fully weld the last join.

Apparently only mod 3.7 diff gears, listen how long he was on the limiter in 2nd for they say it could have been good for 9's with correct changes ect. ran a 1.62 60 ft time.

for reference I ran a 13.7 in my 2 week old manual ss, I have seen a 512 rwkw t run a 12.3 and also 300rwkw ss's run 12.0s all be it a a slower trap speed (about 10mph) so who cares... whos pays wins in the drag race game be it on tyres, tune or diff gears .... also remember said t driver saying hope I dont line up against that 12.0 sec nissan nx coupe........

wank wank...... spend very little money on your stock t it will smoke a stock ss no worries...... all depends on what floats your boat, or in this case squeals your wheels.....but showroom stock I would say the same depending on driver....

yep dead battery for sure, the new ones just seem to die.... I went to the hardware no problems came out tryed to start and nothing not even a click. 4 years you have done wellgo spend $130 on a newie and your good to go for another 4 years.
