Hey lads just seeing if anyone has purchased off or used rvo automatics to build their tranmissions and what was the quality/workmanship like? Im looking at a rebuilt BTR4spd from there for my ba xr6t , its rated at 400kw but before I spend any money id like to get a little more info and hear the opinion of others that have had work done by them before. Hey folks just seeing if someone could recommend me a good transmission builder (Southeast QLD) who would be able to rebuild the BTR 4spd in my car, it hasnt given way yet but at the moment its making 440rwhp running a 3" exhaust with 5" cat, I bought a new x-force stainless steel exhaust with the 4" inch dump and 3 1/2" turbo back and was told after its fitted and tuned I would need a decent gearbox, will the BTR boxes be able to handle the extra or am I better off finding a whole different gearbox?? Any info is welcome. Cheers

Hey folks, I just bought a 04 BA XR6T about a month ago off my neighbor, when I bought it it was making 440rwhp running 3" turbo back exhaust with a 5" cat. I recently bought an x-force stainless steel turbo back exhaust with the 4" dump, 3 and 1/2" cat back (ill be running the cat I already have and not using the x-force cat) and was told once its been fitted, the 4spd auto wont be lasting very long. Which brings me to the question I should've asked at the start lol, can anyone recommend a good gearbox that will withstand the extra hp and roughly what will it cost? Ive heard 2 speed powerglides as a recommendation before but I also want to drive around town and 2speeds will be quite uncomfortable. Any info is welcome I'm all ears, Thanks
