hey guys, my mate just picked up his XR6T and it has an XR8 T5 box in it... just wanting to find out if anyone could tell me what kind of power he will be right to get with this sort of set up ?? I kno from experience my T5 from the 6T absolutely shattered when I put power to it, and I went the T56 set up, which im lookin to do right now also ... just wanting to find the strengths and weakness's of the XR8 T5 ... any help would be appreciated, Thanks heaps, Mark

Hey, is it just me, or does your cooler look like its on an angle ??? not offset, obviously I kno they are offset to the side, but it looks like the passanger side is higher than the drivers side... what do u guys think ?? Mark

haha, yeh it created wheelspin on the dyno... was nice, cant wait to get it retuned when I fix the fuel hose problem...

its just a XR6 Turbo mate, MK1.... with a T56 conversion, brass button clutch, PWR Cooler, custom pipework (done by Scotts Rods, QLD), valve springs (ISAR - Thanks so much Ian.. very much appreciated), upgraded wastegate actuator, and 3 1/2 inch dump pipe and metal cat... dropping into a 3 inch muffler at the back to try keep it a bit quieter, Walbro fuel pump, and upgraded injectors. and 303rwkw at 10psi was really good, I am happy with the outcome, althought I want more... will be getting the 14psi tune soon... and hoping to push about 320rwkw... Hey everyone, finally got the ute tuned today... first run on the dyno at 10psi produced a nice 303rwkw.... after that, with a bit of a problem with the fuel pump and the hose collapsing... fixing that issue and put it to 12psi and produced 308rwkw on a mild tune, keeping it rich just in case I have any other problems with the fuel line, will replace the fuel line this week, and get it retuned again soon, but as for now... im stoked with the results... got a dyno graph, and a few pics and a vid to post up too.... got a real nice power curve too.... just thought I should share with everyone, Thanks, Mark
