    ive had my t for about 5 months now, im a builder and carry my tools in it every day about 350kg worth and with the standard suspension the arch on the back sits about 30mm from the tyre. my t hasnt been lowered and scrapes the front on most driveways and the back sometimes.
  2. ive seen an an xr6t in the shire at caringbah, white with blue stripes and a t in liverpool which was baby sh*t yellow with black stripes
  3. ive got an autotechnica intercooler, does the job looks good, no modifications at all to fit it, it took myself 1 hour and cost me $470, fits onto standard piping
  4. white doesnt fade as much, or show scratches as bad as other colours. best colour overall I say velocity( no reason)

  8. no it wasnt pinging or detonating, my tuner says that apparently the exaust can't handle more boost. wtf? I also thought 10 psi was resonable

  11. they told me they replaced the actuator, they didnt say anything about the solenoid. I went to them because I was under the impression they were the best at it and they know the xr6t back to front. obvoiusly something is wrong if I have all of these mods and this problem?
  12. c and v told me it needed replacing cause it made this problem a while ago and also it made a clicking noise like a compresser when idling. now that I have had this replaced it still made the same problem so they told me to replace th cat so I did, and still the same bull sh$#

  17. ive only suggested the drilled option because a well known tuner I used had promoted these injectors for there cars. and yes I know that drilling out injectors obviously will not flow as good as designed high flow injectors, but they probley would of suited me better because I am only after about 270rwkw, and peace of mind that ford dont void my warranty. As for the injectors that eugene supplied me, I have nothing against them as I have only heard good reveiws about them and they do the job when it comes to further mods 300rwkw +. The only prob I have with these injectors is that when my t goes in for warranty or service the injectors need to be pulled out and the adapters need to be cut off, aswell as hooking up the standard injectors and adapters. otherwise my car blows a sh%$ load of smoke on factory tune.
  18. You either have to change connectors in the loom or get adapters to suit. He supplies the connectors with the injectors & I did supply a few people the adapters who wanted a simple plug & go answer! Russ <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I just recently got injectors off eugene and paid $510. and had to get adapters fitted into the existing loom to support it and it was sh$%. it doesnt look standard at all, ford can pick it. you best getting your standard injectors drilled and fitted for $800.

  21. sorry I dont want to bad name a good company that has done a sh@$ job on one car just got a retune and pulled 263rwkw on an up and down 10psi but then it got played with and got 250.5rwkw on the same up and down 10psi. reason being they need to tighten something on the turbo apparently. so I now have to take it back again. these are my dyno figures what do you guys think?
  22. sorry only have rwkw and nm on graph. I was there when it got dynoed and strait after the actuator was put on it produced 262rwkw. I was happy. but it ran 13psi which he said was too much boost for standard cooler. then he played with the tune and got 215 then 222 then 225. he said the cat was too restrictive. so I got a new cat today, a stainless high flow. so monday it goes back for a free tune, I hope I get at least 250rwkw.
  23. got my t back today from getting a new boost actuator installed, it came back to me with less power than what I gave them. came in with 226rwkw came out with 225rwkw its not much but its the principle of the thing, spending $500 on squat. and the car feels like it runs stuff all boost, compared to before. wtf........
  24. they said 2 weeks ago that it was bleeding boost and that was why I got a poor result on the dyno. ive been told a heap of bulls*% about power lately. I was told by certain people that with bigger injectors and a custom tune that it wouldnt be hard to see 245-260rwkw on the dyno. I came out with 225rwkw and they said the exauast was too restrictive and the actuator was crap. ive heard of t's getting in excess of 270rwkw with standard exauast. correct me if im wrong.
