  1. Thanks guys. Got it fixed. Ended up being the alternator caused by the dreaded power steering hose leak. So now I have to fix that to.
  2. Hoping you guys can help me out here. My BA MK2 xr6t has started developing pulsating lights. It doesn't do it all the time but when it does all the lights on the car pulse quite quickly, dash, radio, interior light, headlights etc. The car still drives fine. I found another thread on here with a simular issue and people said it could be the alternator. As it doesn't do it all the time I was thinking it may be an earth problem. Does anyone know how many earth points there are and where abouts they are? I would like to check those first before paying out for a new alternator.
  3. My car does that to. Having just bought it I think the previous owner has tightened the handbrake to much. As soon as I get time I'll jack it up and see and will post up if that was the problem.
  4. I've been researching on this forum for a bit and thought I'd join up and say hi seeing I've just added a new blue oval to my small but growing fleet. Just picked up a BA XR6 turbo to use as my work ute. It's a nice car, completely stock, and I was surprised by the performance even though I knew they were sposed to be pretty good from what I had read. So the ute is joining an XR5 runabout and my baby which is a 69 Mustang convertible that I have rebuilt myself and is running a 347 stroker. Looking forward to having a chat and contributing where I can.
