I have the same ^^ Zero drone like the man says Making 438rwkw (manual though) on e85, exhaust isn't holding it back afaik
-
The mods I listed are for safeguarding rather than performance Except the surge tank, according to the tuner my current setup with e85 tune (438rwkw) is getting close to the limit with only a single in tank walbro 460 atm As for engine mods, as I mentioned they'll be changed if required, mine is still going strong as yours is but that doesn't mean it hasn't stretched the chain or jumped a link/links or smashed a guide or turned the crank sprocket into a circular saw blade Imo it makes sense to do it before it breaks and while they've got it opened up already doing oil pump. End goal is to have something I can flog and not have my sphincter tighten like a vice every time I bump the limiter You've got an auto so pump gears isn't such a big deal Plus I vaguely recall reading on here you drive like an old woman on the street...

Quick update Can't keep to a plan on this thing, keep thinking of other stuff I should throw at it At this point the order will be something like: Remove diff for rebuild and get truetrac installed Install new SSL springs Koni reds and superpro bushes all round Make new surge tank, buy and fit 1 or 2 walbro 460s - haven't decided on this yet New lines to suit - do myself or get CMS to sort CMS to fit Atomic oil pump - changeover option, will salvage the pump from my BA taxi donk if NA has the same oil pump - @JETURBO @Ralph Wiggum are you gurus able to advise? At the same time will get Atomic timing chain, guides, HD pivot & crank sprocket as/if required Likely get new harmonic balancer also. Modelled up the surge tank on Solidworks; I'm lazier/smarter/time-poor these days so will get all the parts laser cut in 5083 marine grade ally. Screen shot of the front section of the tank complete with cheeky etched logo:

Major hiccups WPMO Had from 6.30 this morning until around 9 when a feed seemed to make them piss off, they came back about an hour ago with a vengeance. Also sick of hearing sh*t cures that don't work. First world dramas I know

@PTR_NITRO_FG will be all over that like stink on a monkey

Nice joint for sure. But do my eyes deceive me or is that a dirty big gap between skirting and floor boards at the bottom LH corner of the dining room pic...? Pretty minor I know but something like that stands out like dogs balls given the level of everything else.

Throw in a truetrac centre and Turns into "a fair whack more again" FACT. So I'm told

Oh sh*t Sorry steve that was probably me Opened the forum this morning and first thing I saw was 666, wtf and clicked on it, a second later I saw your avatar and realised what what the go was, signed out and then back in again Wasn't aware of the significance I'm afraid, I always open if I have any notifications. If you care to fill the off topic thread with solid 24hr sh*tposting I will supply the required likes...shouldn't take long to get the score back up there

They may be marginally better but not much, had 1s previously I don't even pay for tyres but when rears only last 5-10K... 275/30/19 for $165/ea fitted by my local bloke is a fair bargain.
-
Lol atr sports and wet weather grip are two phrases that don't belong in the same universe. When I find my gopro I'll record a wet weather commute 275 sport 2s on the back and they're useless even without provocation. Bloody good fun though.

Bans and deleting posts is ok though yeh....? Oops.

Been a while since I read nelsonian's thread but I'd bet he's spent under 30k on the car. So around high end fpv money, or under half the price of a new GTR. Power is only part of the story when it comes to the track; weight (and weight distribution) and the way power is put down (4wd vs 2wd) have a huge impact on performance, to say nothing of all the electronic gizmos in the GTR. Fair question, just not a relevant one.
-
I'm still surprised anyone would compare a $40k rwd taxi with performance mods to a $150+k purpose built awd supercar and expect any sort of parity.
-
What about these, can get 19x8.5 in 25 offset http://www.jdmconcept.com.au/part/work/emotion-cr-kiwami-ultimate-set Tough looking rim imho Furious gibbon (B series) and Seaton (fg) both have them, pics on here somewhere Want some myself but oil pump comes before new wheels
