Yeh wasn’t going to but got a little bit carried away lol Did a quick search online later but couldn't find too much info about breaking in a truetrac, opinions? Or similar to a new gearset? I still have lifetime warranty and 24/7 roadside assist from you right..what's a teeny tiny little chirp between friends right!?!??

Got the diff back in with new ssl leaves and konis without drama Sits about 10mm lower than I expected, htg is around 340mm. Looks way more purposeful, or at least the back end does, front looks a bit ridiculous now, hopefully it's not too long before I get a chance to get the new springs / shocks / bushes in. Filled the truetrac with some penrite 80W-90 mineral and it was good to go. The feel of a tight driveline is sooo good when you've been putting up with massive lash for a few months on end. Feels really planted in the back end now, much firmer but in a positive way. Makes the front end feel even more wallowy, but that will all change. Just had time to take it for a quick rap around the street, before we went away for the weekend but yes there was time for some 3rd gear roll on tomfoolery and man it is so stable! Two black lines in the rear view mirror (no pics yet) and yeh I could've steered with my pinkie. With the lower springs I was gingerly waiting for tramp but all good so far. Should’ve taken some side by side pics with the std leaves, the kings are 6 packs high compared to 4 std which wouldn't hurt. Watch this space...

Sharkies getting up Down to the wire but but a good effort and well deserved Also a bit of a feel good story (like bulldogs) since it's their first premiership since joining the league 50 years ago

Been meaning to pull the screen out of the turbo oil feed line on the g6et for ages Came out sweet, screen out, main fitting back in and tightened, feed line banjo on and tightening up the sender fitting. Nek minnit - crack Snapped the housing. Guess the torque sensors on the arm need a major recalibrate. An hour before a 5hr trip west with the rest of the extended family. Rage

Nice biz, can't beat a good IPA. Where do you pick it up from? Based in SA aren't they.

Eff I dunno if it's just me, but from reading your posts on here I am always intrigued at how you seem to make sh*t hold together without blowing big coin. I mean for sh*tsake 129mph, 400rwkw or the general vicinity? With an AU BTR in it. Or are you constantly making trips to the scrap you don't talk about...

Ahh... Keefy may well be a bit of a tosser but I don't see what he's done in this thread He obviously gets under a lot of people's skin and and is generally not all that socially aware but all he did was link a thread with different tuners around the Melbourne area = helpful, old mate might not have wished to travel an hour from Spotswood to Pitlane at Frankston (I did check on google maps to make myself look good ) Ralph had a dig and keefy responded as he always does with all the unnecessary reasoning under the sun (could've just said GAGF ralph), which ralph knew full well would happen. Take it out on the T Marco. You're still a tosser but keef.

Freaking hell he specifically said where he's local...gonna be one of those days for me I think

Hey bud welcome to the forum Hate to burst your bubble, these engines respond extremely well to mods but they're not particularly cheap to do. Better off saving a bit of coin to mod it properly first time and get some half decent results. Where are you local?

WMMFG Sent this puppy off on Monday morning for rebuild and truetrac installed Get a call yesterday arvo to say ready for pickup, courier booked, here this morning. Plug here for D&R Diffs in Chipping Norton Can't go wrong with a 3 guy show where two are called Glen and the other one is Bob.

Feel your pain mate, my 2.75 year old feels that 5~5.30am is the perfect time to come running in shouting. Usually wakes the 6 month old who's still sleeping in our room so it's fun times... Worse in the middle of the night though, they're both light sleepers so then they play tag team and can be a few hours before they're both down

Same here. Can highly recommend

Just to clarify, my comment was about xtreme twin plates not ceramic types in general
-
I read xtreme and assumed cerametallic, the organic isn't as harsh from what I've heard, but definitely lacking in refinement compared to those other options.

Mild steel will rust out a lot quicker if it's just sitting there rather than getting the condensation heated out of it regularly.

Interesting fact about the alpacas steve, I didn't know that. They just look like harmless balls of fluff on legs.
