  1. Beard Skinny Lives in melbourne Are you a hipster keef?
  2. ^ What this guy said Or if you're set on doing it, allow to have the car off the road for 6 months and do it properly Set yourself a budget and acknowledge you're going to spend another 50-100% of that Built motor since it's a BA with playdough rods Std T56 will be fine with that power ^^Guys on here are very helpful but you'll need to get off your arse and get onto the search button with your own research for starters It's all been done before, learn from other people's lessons/mistakes and don't use up all your questions on basic stuff Type "NA to turbo" in the search field and you'll get plenty info to get you started Eg. one of the threads that will pop up:
  3. Been fine for the last little while but was jet just now
  4. In addition to above, if a pitbull or similar breed has got a lock jaw grip on another dog/person, thumb up it's arse is the way to make it let go Happened to a guy I know when his akita started to tangle with his mate's pitbull, and it got a grip on one of them when they intervened Reckon I'd let go too eh
  5. Rice bubbles in the cat convertor. If you listened closely you'd hear a bit of a pop with the crackle, and a bit more when he snapped 2nd gear.
  6. One tough ride! I can't compute ID725's and 119mph and equal 507rwkw, maybe 407..? Or maybe I don't know sh*t, always possible. Any case, love ya work.

  9. Yeh bit of a low blow sorry bloke Looking forward to seeing your rig tearing up the streets!
  10. Right on the limit now??? With 350rwkw??? That doesn't sound right... I've got an NPC hybrid twin plate - one organic and one ceramic plate Not sure on power figures but the twin organic it's based on is meant to be rated to 550 flywheel kw so more than that It's not too bad in traffic, bit more bitey than standard though. But tbh if I was driving in peak hour traffic every day in Melbourne or Sydney I'd be getting an auto in any case. @Trent0 is running a new NPC hybrid, organic + button I believe, rated at 1000hp apparently, hopefully he pipes up @BAXRTUTE has got the same clutch but he is only allowed minimal power and has a rev limiter cos he hasn't passed driving school lol
  11. Plenty of T56's around holding more than 450-500rwkw Realistically so should the xtreme clutch, is it organic, ceramic or their carbon option?
  12. ^This. Talk to @JETURBO about a good price for a truetrac. To give you an idea, total cost of the truetrac plus having it fitted to the diff and the diff rebuilt with new bearings was ~$1600 That was with me removing and re-fitting the diff though.
  13. I'm currently a CMS customer and cannot fault them. Joe is extremely helpful even if difficult to get hold of at times due to the fact there's only one of him and every time I see him he's absolutely flat out. He's trying to run a small business, return customer calls and enquiries and obviously do his thing on the dyno. I've had him return calls around 6.30pm, still hard at it. Guys have already commented above on the sort of work he does so need for me to say anything. ^^Not the case. Tunehouse first tuned my ute back in late 2011. They're a much more 'polished' business if that makes sense, very commercially aware, have a workshop floor you could eat off and very good customer service. Tuning in my experience with them was mixed; did a tune that was very good on the street even if it was hard to compare figures as they have a hub dyno, but 18 months or so down the track had an issue that they couldn't diagnose, have to look up the details but they spent a lot of (charged) time trying to fix something that turned out to be pretty basic iirc. They don't just do a lot of barra work, they're into jap stuff in a big way and also do plenty of V8s. However, they know how to charge; initial custom tune was quit reasonable at around $700 + GST from memory but they mark parts up quite heavily. Other things like my 700cc injectors turning out to be drilled stockers (yes they worked, but the price was way up there) which was common enough in the day, but pretty sure there were plenty of other options even in 2011. Haven't been back there since 2013 though so may be a bit out of date.
  14. Must have built motors too, no redline so spinning it up to 7K is a goal not a limit
