Got ute back from cms this arvo, had it serviced and the 98 tune tweaked up to 18psi.
Made a tad over 400 which I'm pretty happy with
Been trying to load the dyno sheet for last 10 min, internet is sh*thouse atm.
Will try again tomorrow.
Well sh*t, I bungled that 3rd grade maths question. Somehow I got 15-9 = 6 months pregnant with the first one, not 6 months old lol
What was your calculating ralph
After 50K my front remsa pads are absolutely stuffed and my T2 RDA's along with them...good excuse to grab dba 4000s and will go with mu ns400s after all the positive feedback
I was going to go to Race Brakes Sydney as plenty on here recommend but according to their website they're closed all this week.
Plenty of listings on ebay for the rotors, pads a few as well.
Best rotor price I found:

One of the pad listings:

Or we could just all PM jet cos he has CONTACTZZ.
It's at CMS getting serviced, thought I may as well see get a test to see what my hamfisted treatment of it over the years has done lol
Was pleasantly surprised to say the least
Next step atomic oil pump and hd timing kit
Then limiter bashing skids?
That's my understanding of it.
I don't do burnouts for the same reason.
Better shocks help - tramp has definitely reduced since I fitted koni reds on the rear, even though I put kings ssl leaves in at the same time (potentially making it far worse).
Also may be worth checking whether your axles are bent

Truck being driven through the carpark at work went over the end of a hunk of timber, flicking it into the air and smashing my windscreen.
Oh well it was filthy, saves cleaning?
@powelmac Your thread has impeccable timing, I dropped into Allsprings just yesterday and that's what they were suggesting, claimed to have them on one of the quicker xr8 utes in the country.
Was sifting through a few axle tramp threads but couldn't find any feedback on such a fix.
Thanks for the heads up! Looks like I'll be doing the same now.
So we're sort of saying the same thing, except you're saying fudging, I'm saying other factors.
Another one being that it's a manual...so what's that, about a 15rwkw difference at that power level
Manual
Non stock motor
Hub dyno
Add them up and I don't think 479 is far off. But what do I know?
Moi?
Edit
Wasn't saying 500 is/isn't possible, just that his 479rwkw figure has a bit of fine print in it. ie, non stock motor, hub dyno
@arronm am I correct? not knocking it at all, it's a good figure.
