  1. ^this x 100 @Slowxr6t have a wander through this thread
  2. I'm no expert but a T56 should be up to the job at 1500kg The magnum version would be ideal if you can get a decent price over there?
  3. @OZYWALKER is Caucasian as they come, what do do u.... oh wait Just type "black nob" and see where Google takes u lol If that don't work, try www.core-shifters.com
  4. "Valid": (of an argument or point) having a sound basis in logic or fact; reasonable or cogent. "a valid criticism" Keefy I don't see any alternative... I'm chalking this up as a win orright #atyourowngame Jokes aside mate, you need to wake up earlier
  5. Yessir #99258 is valid regardless of whether the conversation a couple pages back occurred or not I know you like this sort of argument 😘
  6. Factx is factx, what you said or didn't say isn't strictly relevant 1st warning cheers
  7. Spring colour merely differs between manufacturer, nothing to do with rating AFAIK Lovells are typically blue, no idea on purple No part numbers or marking on the leaves? Ratings (eg. std or 1T) will vary, but leaf springs will be interchangeable between ute & wagon
  8. Ozark season 3 has just dropped on netflix, hope it lives up to previous seasons
  9. I know what you mean but cos it's there every morning I think of it as a general greeting rather than a conversation starter. When I open the forum on the unread content page, if I see your 'good morning' in the preview of the OT topic then as a rule I don't bother to open it but as a result sometimes overlook other stuff So yeh mix it up
  10. @k31th can I suggest a good morning thread all by itself?
  11. I tell a good story anyway lol
  12. Properly tuned on e85 with appropriate bolt-on mods, you can push that much power through a healthy stock FG turbo motor with a set of valve springs If you're set on building your first motor, personally I'd be practicing on a few taxi donks first vs. learning with expensive parts but that's up to you. What trade are you doing?

    Wheels

I'm running 19x10.5 +22 with 285/30/19 on the rear, compared to factory 17x8 +38 (iirc) this which bumps the wheel outer edge 48mm according to willtheyfit.com https://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=245&aspect=45&diameter=17&wheelwidth=8&offset=38&width2=285&aspect2=30&wheel_size=19&wheel_width=10-5&offset2=22 See posts with pics below, as mentioned in one of them I took a grinder to the guard inner edge return as there would've been 10mm interference otherwise. Based on that just for reference, you should be able to get away with a) 20x10.5 +35~40 or b) 20x9.5 +25~30 without interference but best do your measurements first and compare on willtheyfit.com

    Wheels

There's guys out there that do this but way better use of your coin to change rims imho. Not only that, all widening is done to the inside, whereas FG utes are begging for a lower offset, factory offset / wheels are tucked ridiculously far inside the guard
  15. Definitely valve springs if not already done Edit Re-read first post; was referring to valve springs with a GT3582 / 3540, not necessarily needed with baby turbo
  16. A bit more difficult on your wallet only, pedal feel/effort with a twin plate is typically comparable or lighter than stock in my experience.
  17. Nah, you carry on with your point-making and your added little pearls of wisdom on life decisions 😘
  18. If you don't beat on it and ≤350rwkw is your end goal, a quality single plate organic will be your best value for money option. Mal Wood and NPC are 2 companies with a good rep. Mal Wood's option 3+ should be a good fit. https://malwoodauto.com.au/product/ace-clutch-kit-ba-bf-xr6-turbo-5-6-speed-option-3-plus-acebat6opt3p/
  19. Love your empathy freaky, you should be one of those people who knock on people's doors and tell them "we regret to inform you of the loss of your <insert family member> etc. And by the way, maybe wear a seat belt next time"
