^^This guy Check out old mate's thread starting here I'd hardly say he's either a tight arse or looking for shortcuts with a build like that, I'm guessing he's hoping for convenience due to the lack of e85 outlets in Inn Zidd
-
My brother was there, sent me a couple pics of it Prefer this though Tidy looking setup I presume was at the GCG or Plaz stand
-
You're not making sense keef

Happy to be proved wrong but I'm pretty sure that no version of the g6et has ever come from the factory with lsd.
-
Monroes would definitely be better than stock. @Bomber used to run them in his xr from memory, he may chip in. Shockworx>koni/bilstein>monroe>stock

Haven't seen it but hows the focus RS going? Or was that someone else I'm thinking of.

What was wrong with the ss? (If @stubbietubbie still logged on he'd be all "nothing really, apart from all the rape, torture and murder" or somwthing like that) I can't fathom how you'd go FG - VF2 - FG, look back and be like "that's progressive". Turbo-V8-turbo, maaaaybe, but an NA??? My opinion fwiw save up till you can afford decent shocks, shorter springs will shorten the life of the stockies, which are sh*t on the basic models anyway, and you'll get full benefit of the springs that way.

What do you mean, I've being running e85 for years...? Get the red rocket on it.
-
Too right, e85 is the only reason I pushed for it

Fitted my front kings Sl coils and koni reds last night. I've got a superpro control arm bush kit to go in but knew there was no way I was going to have time so that'll wait. Once the coils have had a chance to settle I'll be getting the sagging (one side is ~335mm HTG) SSL leaves reset to suit with reverse wrap front eyes and the half rebound leaf as mentioned here. Fingers crossed these combined factors will eliminate the axle tramp I'm getting now. When the ute's off the road getting leaves modded will give me a chance to have a crack at the bushes. Few obligatory photos... Old vs new Fitted Confused colour scheme going on there...love the ns400s btw, dust has to be way less than half of the remsas I had previously Sits a bit more level now

FTFY Interested to see how your new setup goes.

@wixy if you're still keen on the mustang wheels, the advanti casear in 9.5" wide looks pretty similar but with a 35 offset that should work https://wheeldemon.com.au/wheel/6125/advanti-caesar-rear

Hey @MattyP whereabouts exactly? Nothing shows up on United's website. Or did you mean these guys... https://www.bioracefuel.com.au/distributors

Nothing to do with the noise but was that FG turbo from an F6 or an XR?
-
Fair call. I presume their stuff is 100% imported from China?
-
To be fair it didn't crack thru the welds this time but the previous two times it did It hangs too long imo Ralph I'm pretty sure the transition was a 1off proto for the FG which they never went ahead with, from memory they have a different part for the B series Will ask if you like. Flanges will be no problem, I actually got a couple laser cut out a while back but in 10mm staino not 12mm
-
Last night I dragged the stars into alignment and was able to finally repair my patchwork quilt dump pipe Knew it was cracked badly from the noise that had been getting worse but was really hoping I could weld it up in-situ Hmmm Looks like it's coming off The damage Quick wire brush and hit it with the tig Hopefully it's only a short term fix and next time I can utilise these...from the SMB leftover pile, dealt with through work and gave me these for $25 - score! Means I don't have to spend time making a temporary forming tool/hitting tube with a 2lb ball pein..

^^This!!! WPMO Went up to the RMS this afternoon to renew my licence, went through the online palaver to find that I was unable to renew it. Customer service checked, turns out I have an unpaid fine. I'm absent-minded as sh*t sometimes but couldn't for the life of me recall getting anything lately. Wait for my turn at the counter, they can't tell me what it's for, only the amount. So I call NSW Revenue / SDRO and get an old duck who informs me that on the 1st May I apparently was caught travelling from Liverpool train station to Glenfield station without a ticket. News to me since I haven't used a train in over 2 years. Had my name and DOB correct, but comes to my address and it doesn't match, she asks me if I've ever lived at xx xxxx Ave Glenfield? Erh... no but I'll file that away for future reference TVM. Turns out some khunt has somehow got my details, couldn't get confirmed whether he/she had my licence number or not. Got the restriction lifted ok, just have to provide some proof of my whereabouts on that date when I get a new letter from them. Can't work out how in this day and age someone can just give verbal details regardless of whether they have no other ID, and it gets taken as fact, unless of course they've turned it into a fake licence but with the system being central you think it'd show up straightaway as a fail? Anyone on here know anything about the whole process? Not hopeful it's a genuine address but will pay a visit to Glenfield in the near future I'm thinking.
