  1. Plus his name is Marcus, not Clyde...
  2. Read this thread https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/77949-e85/
  3. OP, keef has a B series F6 with a lot of potential but sadly zero kw at this point in time due to numerous factors, of which not the least is lack of motivation. He doesn't realize that he's at the stage of his life where he has the best combination of spare coin, energy and time to put into it. Tragic.... @k31th
  4. FG F6 turbo is the same as B series, FG XR6T turbo is slightly different, read this thread Given the thread you're posting in, if you're asking whether the same Earl's filter kit will work on either, answer is yes.
  5. Genuine question here, did you go to the auction with the intention of buying an NA and doing a turbo conversion...?
  6. @k31th do you react better to the carrot or the stick ie. should we give money and encouragement or throw eggs at your house until you start work on the F6
  7. @skidxr6t but I can do mad skids in these undies
  8. Pics of pushing bottoms not required I guess they would get a bit tired after a while and start playing up
  9. I always do, don't remember suggesting it but would encourage it for sure Yeh it's tricky to get that sweet spot off the line...was much easier with original (baby FG) turbo and about 100 less rwkw At the lights, I'm pretty realistic about my chances off the line, I try to lure any takers into roll-ons from 70+ Hypothetically speaking of course.
  10. ^what he said If you really think it'll fix your problem, go to your local fastener shop and ask for a 12.9 grade bolt the correct size and length as arronm already said multiple times
  11. Nice write up mate, love seeing something different like this done properly, well done.
  12. ^spot on They mean well, but it's actually a bit of a relief when they go
  13. I also know them feels When our daughter was born a couple of years ago, the mother in law came over to help out for a week. Had just finished the new ensuite in the guest bedroom and all was pretty tidy. By about the 4th day, I didn't notice (cos guy) but a bit of tension had built up between the wife and her following a minor argument, then while we were all getting ready to go to a friend's place for tea, the sh*t literally hit the floor while she was having a shower....ie. borrie paper and its contents had started squeezing up through the shower floor waste. Safe to say that relations reached an all time low. Took a lot of mucking around to work it out, but long story short, the plumber had teed the waste for the new ensuite into the waste from the sink in the garage. No issue there, but turned out the original owner/builder or his plumber had done a bit of a shonk and run the waste through the slab, aaannnnndddd... just stopped right there, in the dirt. Ok to handle washing out a few paint trays etc, but a few days of showers, sh*t and piss....nup.
  14. A few months back we were going through 12-14L of skim a week - family of 4, 2 of which are under 5 Wife hardly drinks it, I put a bit away but my 4yo son and 2yo daughter went through a weird phase of going nuts for the stuff. Nothing wrong with it but my son's appetite in particular was pretty sh*t at mealtimes as you could imagine....almost had to wean him a second time lol Now he hardly touches it...even eats his weetbix dry haha
  15. Forced Performance & Tuning in Toowoomba and Profile Autosports in Ormiston both seem to have a great rep on here and elsewhere
  16. @El Andrew send me a link and take my money already dammit
  17. ^^ this May as well make it an F6
  18. Are they much better than the 41lb version? That's what I want to know
  19. Ok maybe I have a juvenile sense of humour but this literally made my ribs hurt from pissing myself @Rab & @Puffwagon in particular it may appeal to speed cooking
  20. So you got a safe or dangerous diff in the gt...
  21. only if you use mineral oil
  22. I have a strict start up procedure that involves turning TC off before reversing out of the driveway, unless I have a passenger who wouldn't appreciate the intent. In that case I wait until they're looking out the window.
  23. @Brad3199 when you say "in a straight line" I presume you're not dumping the clutch....and that you've driven manual for a while The last time I had an experience like you're describing was probably about 12 years ago, used to happen regularly in the work ute, but that was a trayback 2.7L hilux with sh*tty 185s all round.
