  2. The B series do look tough, but (and I know not everyone likes e'm) the black panda eyes in your rear view mirror do look more intimidating than any B series will!
  3. What's your average speed? that's the key indicator. I only average 32km/h as I drive mainly during peak hours in the NE surburbs of melbourne and I get 15l/per 100 thanks going gentle ish! If I use the boost it's into the 18's but on the freeway going it will do less than 10 l/per 100 kms if I was going for a long cruise. If you're getting 400 from a tank it's not too bad for traffic conditions
  4. Daily commute to work average 15's or if I use the pedal 19's........... On the freeway doing a run 8's......... It's the average speed that is the best indicator......I'm 33kmh in peak hour melbourne traffic......
  5. Looks good.......but you can do better BF... http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/private/details.aspx?R=9861556&__Ntt=xr6 turbo 2005&__Qpb=true&__Dx=mode matchany&__Ns=pCar_RankSort_Int32|1||pCar_PriceSort_Decimal|1||pCar_Make_String|0||pCar_Model_String|0&keywords=xr6 turbo 2005&__N=1216 1282 900&__Ntx=mode matchallpartial&seot=1&__Ntk=CarAll&silo=1011&Cr=10&__Nne=15&trecs=35&__D=xr6 turbo 2005&__sid=12F27D661B4B
  6. For $13-$14k you should be able to get a decent BAmkII with leather and premium sound if look around. Coming from an EL an na BA is fantastic but the tirbo is better still....cost is only a bit more but the performance can be worth it. As trade in BAII's are now from $6k to $12k (depending on what's it's being traded for)so someone private will want to sell rather than trade it in........
  7. Unfortunately no. Envy (Green) it’s a BA only colour and was discontinued half way through the life of the BAmkII.
  8. Agree Dush73, it's all about avaerge speed. I'm geeting 15l/100 on an average speed of 34kmh, and that's not going hard, if I have a bit of fun it's the wrong side of 20!
  9. Build 877 F6 sedan auto vixen
  10. $55 driveaway......which is OK, although if I hadn't looked so enthusiastic, I could have probably got it for a $1k or so less? Still very good price compared to what some of the dealers appear to be asking for these.
  11. After many years of wanting an FPV, I've done it! Swapped my bionic coloured BA mk11 XR6 for an F6. It's an understatement to say it's a BIG change! F6 was a demo with 3K kms, leather and the argents (which were a must have!) and I'm like a big kid with a new toy! I'm still getting used to the power, and the whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa when the turbo gets going......what a machine.
  12. It's probably the remote needing a new battery. Same thing happened to me a few months ago. Took the horn fuse out to give myself some thinking and research time...replaced battery in the remote and all fixed.
