How To Remove The Guard Covering The Radiator

2009 g6e yeah there plastic and a pain in the ass -
I'm having trouble removing the guard covering the radiator. the screws don't screw outwards at all. When screwing they just stay put

No it's not but I plan on lowering it in the future, that's why I'm uneasy about 20's

thinking of these in 19's I've got a black g6e, thinking about blacking it out fully, black rims blacked out grill emblems ect
