  1. have got some big problems with the engine conversion .I have got the speedo reading nothing at all ,also have the traction control lights on the dash (my ba xt never had traction control ) also the numbers gearbox p -r -d 3-2-1 are flashing (so its in limp mode )the engine and wiring harness is out of a sedan ,and its a ute I have fitted it to .the cods that come up are p0500 vehicle speed A (vss) and u 1900 .the engine starts no probs and it selects gears first and reverse (no other gears ). can anyone give me some help please , thanks
  2. got a turbo radiator ,rear seat xr blue very good con . air con condenser ,v8 throttle body ,v8 shifter cable , v8 aircon lines etc
  3. the handle is broken on that one sorry mate .ps have seat motors ,v8 throttle body,v8 shifter cable ,radiator v8 or turbo 6 (good condition )air con condenser ,etc just ask and I might have it

  5. got a ba diff to give away for free ,it has 108000 klm on it its still in the sedan .its no good to me I have a ute (caloundra 4551 ) give me a reply and I will send my phone no to you .also have still got the brakes for give away as well .passenger side door .
  6. I have reinstalled the standard tune ,but it is still there car is in limp mode ,the dash (gears are flashing )and the traction control is on .my ute never had traction control to start with . might have to take it to someone to turn of the traction control part in the computer .

  8. yes all the wiring and him (except from cabin to tray )but all the dash wiring and engine bay .it is in limp mode ,can not read my abs sensors .that's what I believe
  9. started the engine for the first time in my ute (7.45 pm saturday ) now there is a turbo 6 were there used to be a 3v v8 .sounds sweet .had 2 codes come up ,code p0500 vehicle speed A (vss ) and u 1900 . the engine conversion is from a sedan and I fitted it to a ute (ute only xt model ba (no traction control but abs brakes ) also no interior fan working ? air con still has to be re gassed .
  10. the screws are not going to hold well in that steel, have found that corse thread screws work the best and only tighten till it is firm .or you will strip them (not the screw but the steel stud ) I would fit a board of marine ply to the inside of the studs before the chip rock goes up .I also ran my surround sound speakers thru the roof and down the wall .
  11. all good got oil pressure after filling more oil down the oil line ,and cranking the engine over .fitted the plugs and away it went ,started first go .
  12. just wanted to start my engine ,but no oil pressure while I am winding it over (no spark plugs in engine )had motor turned over to take the sump gasket of before I fitted the engine .I have filled oil in with a syringe thru the turbo oil line ,back to the oil pump .still no oil pressure .what can I do. thanks for any info

  15. is that were I could get the vac line from ,it is at the moment used for the sensor that is in the picture (headlight ) what does it do and can I use a t joiner and hook up both ? ps is that the over boost cut out ? this is only my second turbo car (last one 20 years ago )so I do not know the technical side of thinks. thanks for any help ,it does help me a lot .
  16. so best would be where the original one was near the throttle body.is the vac line near the power brake line is ?I have a auto meter gauge there hooked up ,do I just have to get a tee piece ?
  17. yes I would have been better of with a c4 .but the auto place next door done it for $2000 (mates rates usually $3000).new solenoids ,au oil pump and parts . standard stall so I can tow a camper trailer . but I know it will not last forever ,only travel all up in one year 10.000 klm .got Shannon's insurance so restricted not for daily driving .only about $400 a year full comp
  18. is it where the auto meter gage is hooked up at the back of the engine ?.I would have to get a t piece to hook it up , it only has one outlet got the engine started today at 7.45 pm ,no problems only got some codes that pooped up u1900 and p0500 vehicle speed A (vss) can someone tell me what they are ?
  19. the btr is definitely not a strong box ,just got mine rebuild with au parts and a au pump .they said to get it tuned in 2 gear so that it will not blow up (I know it will not be a true reading )just to get it tuned and then do a power run in 3 gear .second gear they are a lot stronger ,and handle a lot more power .also let it cool down in between runs
  20. here is the paper work to prove it ,I hope these are genuine results . sorry but think it only has about 740 nm ? is this a good spot to fit the bov (out of view ) where is the vacuum hose coming from ? I have no idea ,there was no bov fitted on the donor car . please give advise ps just note the number plate on the print out .the original owner was christopher john hermann .was he a member of this forum ?
