A mate gave me his injectors from his Bf F6.He had them cleaned and tested but decided to put a bigger set in his car.Do I need to have my car tuned or will it be ok to just put these in my car.My car is stock

Can anyone tell me how tight to tighten up the upper manifold to the lower manifold bolts and the lower manifold to the block bolts help appreciated

Just fluked it only took a day to get it out.

All sorted the idiots at ford had left the rubber off the spark plug socket or something and it had melted at the bottom which wouldn't allow the socket to go down all the way.

Took rocker cover off and replaced seals but I can not get the rear plug out to change. Seems like the the socket isn't getting a bite on the plug so I can't get it loose any suggestions.

I have a 03 xr6 T no mods 95,000 on the clock. The car has been running a bit rought lately so I decided to check all the hoses for leaks and the spark plugs and when I pulled the front 3 plugs out the thread off the plug was coverd in oil.An suggestions what might be going on.

The car is out of warrenty and it's a stainless steel cat.Went back to ask the guy weather it would have overboost said that because it still has the stock exhaust that will stop it from overboosting. The car is definetly alot better then when I bought 2y ago and sounds awsome.

I had overboosting before due to kinked wastegate hose where it was going to 15 psi but it only go to the usual 6 psi at the moment.But the turbo will kick in nice and smooth till about 3psi and then just launches and stickes to about 5-6 psi.

I jumped into my car the other day and noticed it was running like a dog felt very restrictive under throttle and very little boost . So after work went to Ford to book it in to be looked at the next day.They ring and say that they can't find anything but say their is definetly a problem but not sure what.So I spoke to my old man who used to be a mechanic knows nothing about turbos just the old v8 and he said sounds like the cat. I get on the phone and speak to the guy at ford to see what they think he says he will take it for a test drive and have another feel. So he calls back and says that it's definetly the cat and that for a new one it will be $1250 for a stock one told him not to touch the car I will come and pick it up.Phoned around and got a hi-flow cat fitted for $400 which seems to be heaps better but I have noticed that the boost is a little slower to kick in but when it does the car fells so much more powerful. The car is stock just the usual cai and now cat.

Does anyone know off a place in Sydney where I can get some cheap 2003 BA xr6T brake callipers.Dads trading to a phoon and wants to keep his brembo brakes for that but needs callipers to put on his T to trade it in.

I have a ba and I pulled the t/c & fog light switch out and changed the wires around so that the t/c was wired to the fog lights and fog lights to t/c and then just change the faces which just unclip put back in and then it is always off when you start the car up.

It turned out that vacume hose to the watsegate switch was some how kinked

I did a service to the T on the weekend just the usual oil,oil filter,petrol filter,coolant,turbo filter,throttle body plus I changed the hose that runs from the turbo to the intercooler as the heat from the turbo had made the end hard and cracked which meant it was leaking air.Now instead of the usual 5-6 psi boost I'm getting 10-12 psi and when it hits 12 psi it drops to 10 but doesn't loose any power or go into limp mode. I have spoken to ford and the first guy had never heard of a T with overboost so wasn't much help so went some where else and booked in for Thursday . Is it ok to drive till then.Also the car is stock except the cai

Can anyone tell where I can get a Tyhoon inake snorkel from without a vin number. I want to put one on T but they won't sell with out it.

I know how u feel mine was of the road for 8 days had to drive my old ladies Hyundi Getz around if it was auto would had been ok but been a manual and me being a big fella just didn't work but got the T back can stretch out a bit.

Welcome buddy if your like me you will be offering to drive everyone places just so you can take it for a spine. Im gathering a few sleepless nights till you pick it up.
