  1. Has anyone done the zf valve body seals and did it make a difference. Getting trans friction element A fault, thinking it's a pressure issue.
  2. Going to replace the valve body seals and clean the sensors. If that does not work I could possibly replace the solinoids.
  3. What about a Valve body service? Anyone done this?
  4. So I'm still having this problem in 2nd and 3rd gear in wot. I'm thinking something is slipping as it's at Max power and load. Can someone tell me if it's bands in the gearbox that changes it into third and is third gear a band engaging?
  5. Not for me, it needs doing anyway. If everything possible has been done it leaves no other option. On another note, when checking trans oil level do you guys select each gear from 1 to 6 in sequential auto mode?
  6. Trying to rule everything out first. Last problem was plugs that weren't gapped by the tuner 🙄
  7. Well I'll take all this into consideration. I just thought the code I had may of been a common problem or seen regularly. I'll try filling on the coldish side with a new filter and another dose of clean fluid and see how she goes. Like I said the box is operating normally but once in a blue moon this code pops up when I gun it. Could be tuner related.
  8. Is this standard? I went through the gears then back to park with engine running? Is it better to leave in drive with park brake on of course?
  9. Any way I'm going to replace the filter and just change the oil in the sump as it's pretty fresh, I'll go through the process and make sure the fluid level is correct. Hopefully changing the filter will make a difference.
  10. Yes Andrew did all this, and BTW thanks for the write up in regard to external trans cooler install, it was very helpful!
  11. Yes I'm aware of the process, and after I installed the trans cooler double checked the fluid level at said temperature, did this after the final flush. Car was level and fluid level was spot on. Went through the same process to refill. After the final fluid flush it has only made the car go into limp mode on the track twice, no street issues yet. Trans temperature has not been above 105c. This is why I think it may be fluid, filter or pressure related.
  12. No issues with the box before tuning and it has just kicked over 200 000kms, however after the tune I fitted an external pwr trans cooler behind the fog light and did a fluid flush with gulf and Western. I have not changed the filter for 60000kms but will do this weekend. I'm thinking it's more fluid or pressure related as I haven't noticed a difference in the transmissions performance. So other issues could be the pump or preasure leak possibly in the sleave.
  13. It occurs when I give it sum. I attended coffee laps at Queensland Raceway and when I first went out I opened her up on the straight, gearbox was around 70 degrees bang straight into limp mode (no boost but drives normal). Come off the track Cleared the error started up and got back on. It occurred one other time during the 90min session so I was happy but want to get this sorted. I'm running true track diff and 265 tyres, I have been disabling the traction control when giving it a bit.
  14. Yeah possibly. Just thought others may have had the same problem with that error code.
  15. Fluid level is fine, been to the tuner and apparently haven't seen this code before, sorry I should have explained this. The zf has been tuned as I have no torque tags and it shifts differently. Anybody have issues with gw fluid?
